though since it most likely going to be commander class for both, there more likely having the size based on the cw combiner or how ever tall the new menasor may be
I don't even know what this is supposed to mean. We know that the only two properly scaled Combiners are Predaking and Devastator. Star Saber isn't going to be Commander Class so he can be whatever size he needs to be. We know from scale charts and the anime that Star Saber is bigger than Jetfire. Victory Saber is just below Devastator in height.
with a price of 200 to 250, and adding victory leo as stretch goal, it very unlikely his the size of titan class devastaor, so more then likely his a commander, with victory leo being another commander when and who rumored it was cw devvie size, because i do no see how 4 deluxes(whether the torso a commander or not) can be a titan class
The combiner components mass shift up when combining. CW combiners are grossly undersized. Though Broadside is about Jetfire sized. I doubt Hasbro will see it like that.
Combiners aren't going to be Titan-sized again. Both Predaking and Devastator are from the pre-WFC days, and robot mode scale is now king. And so any Scramble City-style combiner is gonna have deluxe-sized limbs and a Voyager-sized torso guy. Unless we're expecting any future Bruticus to have a Swindle larger than Megatron.
and to add, a hard lesson learned, only backers get to order. Hasbro doesn't do a release after production. only choice after funding ends is to pay mark up thru a 3rd party
The easy answer to get them to scale with the reissue of CW Devy and Omega is partsforming. No other way to get that size with only 5 bots unless they're each MP scaled like the CW Constructicons are. Otherwise you'd have combiners that are too small. Especially a new Devastator compared to Omega Supreme.
What you dont understand is that all the combiner limbs will be leader class...price point. But still be deluxe size. Gotta consider that improved engineering after all!
News in a year or two: "Mass shifting tech to be pioneered by Hasbro in an attempt to satisfy Transformers fans' desire for scale in robot mode, vehicle mode AND combined mode."
I always thought it made sense for Predaking and Devastator to be larger than the other combiners. They're the only two classic combiner teams incompatible with the scramble city style. They're also supposed to be the more powerful combiners. Sure it kinda sucks that Bruticus can't see eye to eye with Devastator, but for me it's more important for Devastator to scale with Omega Supreme, and Siege Omega Supreme actually feels in scale (unlike the city bots Metro, Fort Max, Trypticon, and Scorponok, who I feel are half the size they should be at the least, but that's not gonna happen. Ever, and I've excepted that). That's all just my take away of course.
Devy, Predaking, Omega, and kinda sorta Black Zarak are really the only Titans that are scaled correctly. Zarak could be a couple inches shorter, but he's probably as close as we're going to get any time soon. Grand Max is also not too far off from being the right size, though he's definitely worse off than Zarak is. Tryps, Scorpy, Fort Max, and Metro are all significantly smaller than scale indicates, though accurately sized ones are pretty infeasible.
