Definitely happy with both of these guys. They feel solid and they don't give me the same fear of breakage that split did. Both transformations are simple and easy enough. I only have split because I was worried about the rest of the set, but it looks like I'm back in it for the whole set.

 

Hey everyone I received mine today and I was just wondering where these tiny screw covers went I haven’t been able to figure it out.

Pretty sure they're covers for some screw holes on Hightower's legs. Just got mine too.

 

There are 5 screw covers that come with the set. The video only shows the placements for three of them (unless if I missed it).
I think @Cyber Fiend was referring to the two.

 

Lucky! Mine was supposed to be delivered yesterday but it never showed then changed to "delivery exception" implying I wasn't home all night (which I was). I think the drivers put that there when they're too busy or too lazy to get through all their stuff so it looks like they TRIED to deliver when they didn't. Anyway glad you seem to be enjoying yours!

 

I had this happen with mine too, marked as “attempted delivery 21:35” on a Friday. I’m in lockdown so I was definitely home   Guy turns up randomly at 8pm on the immediate Saturday to try again. It all worked out surprisingly well  

 

Arrived! Hell yeah!

PS: Does anyone else keep the light bar flipped forward like this on Bomber? Reviewers don't do it but it seems intentional...

Thanks for this! I was so confused for a while too. BTW I think you have yours in backwards. Mine fit in the other way and line up with the sculpt more.

Messed with Paranoider last night. What a fun and goofy guy. However, I don't like the "cowboy pistols" look very much, but I haven't found any other place on the robot mode for the guns to attach and look like they could actually fire at anything. Anyone find somewhere to put them (besides the same tabs as vehicle mode)?

Oh good! How the heck were you able to get them out again?

I believe @Grimlockimus has Split for sale on Twitter. I just preordered from ShowZ last weekend or I'd have made an offer myself.

 

I have no idea how long Mixmaster will last before his knees give out. God, this thing is a pain to stand up. Really hope DS does a mark II of it. If the legs and arms were a bit stiffer, it’d be so much better.
It’s also very hard to do dynamic poses with such a small shelf space. Had to store my Movie 1 deceptions to make room.

 

It helps a bit if you remove Split's cab at the mushroom peg on his rear, though I do agree about needing an updated run. I've resorted to using a Gundam base with a claw to keep him upright.

 

They arrived this morning. Sadly, I'm too busy to mess with them right now.

This is why I decided at first that I didn't want to deal with this set! Now I am probably gonna get them all. I ordered Smash last night.... But as for Split, do you guys think they may have made some improvements for the second batch that Showz has for preorder right now? I was gonna try and find them all as quickly and cheaply as possible but now I'm thinking at least for Split that I should wait for this next batch. Also does anyone know when the second run will release?

 

ShowZ's Smash preorder switched to incoming. No updates on Split.

 

Hopefully they release another wave of Mixmaster soon, with the Long Haul pre-orders up, Mixmaster will be the last one I need to get all caught up.
