I understand and agree with both these sentiments but with the way these characters act and/or are portrayed it allows multifaceted interpretation unlike cut and dry racism like Carbombya in G1. While we may see the characters in one way the undefined or undefinable allows for more extreme interpretations to be drawn.

In layman's terms the Twins are the Black/Blue (White/Gold) Dress of Transformers.

 

Yeah, I get tolerance and all that, but this is a movie figure appreciation thread, not a twins discussion thread....

 

When we've heard nothing about them in a line they should be in it becomes a topic of discussion. Probably would've been less to talk about if they were just quietly put in a wave and just not discussed further.

It's a fact. Claiming that one thing only applies to a specific race is racial, whether it'd be a bad, or a good thing. And keep in mind, I am not white, nor black. So I'm not being biased towards any side.

Going Ratchet-free for the next few months. Someone contacted me and bought him (also Thundercracker in case y’all forgot I had him lol) - both for a very good price to make up for their rarity.

I had a hard time liking this guy, but it feels surprisingly emotional, probably more than any sane adult would feel for a toy, to say goodbye. I’ll see you again someday, Ratchet - whether as a new uncustomized copy, as the MTB repaint of the DOTM figure, or as that Takara Premium repaint they’re revealing by the end of the year.
