Well done! This came out amazingly! I’d be tempted to make my own Shattered Glass Ultra Magnus with this if I had a 3D printer

I mean if you really want to give this a try, I can make you a couple heads.

I was wondering if you removed any of the paint from the base figure for this custom? Most Netflix figures paint is very easy to remove so I just wondered. I'm thinking about making my own but obviously it won't be a full SG Magnus without the head, I might be able to live with it though

Now that there's an official SG Ultra Magnus in the works, I may be doing another lower effort custom when he arrives. I like the official armored head much better than mine, but I'll be swapping the smaller robot head and I'll have to do something about all that red in the neck area of the armored mode. It blends in way to much with the head.

Have you thought about altering the file so this could fit on the Legacy Laser Prime mold?

Okay so I was going to modify the Magnus head to fit the laser Prime mold. I don't have that mold yet but I know its shares parts with the Seige / Earthrise mold and I'm hoping the ball joint is the same size. The good news is, it's the same size ball joint as on Magnus already. So I don't need to modify it if the laser Prime mold is the same 16502185108406881539787995195442.jpg 20220417_161353.jpg

Little update: The Magnus head does not fold into the Siege chest I'll wait till I have the new mold in had before I make changes. I also need some thinner spraypaint. This satin black is way too thick and ruins the fine details.

So the smaller head does work on the lazer prime mold no modding required. but it almost fits in truck mode. I broke on of the antenna on my copy (but glue will fix it) so you might need to make it smaller to fit or change the placement of the antenna

I would say swap it with the dishes custom you did. That’s what I’m gonna do.

Unfortunately prototyping new fits for the head is going to have to be on hold. With the clearance issues on the antenna and how high the neck sits, I'm thinking I can probably get it to fit in the chest by setting the ball joint little deeper in the head. But I won't be able to test that theory for a while because my resin vat leaked and got into the monitor. Gonna have to order a new one before I can start printing again.

Do you know if this head would be compatible with the new Legacy Laser Optimus Prime?

So the smaller one does but it won’t fit when converting it into truck mode

I'll get to work fixing it soon. Two new screens on the way to fix the printer, then I can get back to prototyping.

    The digibash looks great :thumb
But at first glance I think I prefer Hasbro's choice.
The colors in your digibash are accurate to the original one but the upcoming Leader class one distributed the colors a bit differently.

Still waiting on the new screen. Anyone who has a resin printer, I've gone ahead and made an adjusted model that I think will be a better fit the legacy mold. Just waiting for thingiverse to finish updating it.
