If it was a couple of months ago I could have seen them dropping the Never belt on Kenny to take part in the angle without disrupting plans for the IWGP title, but I think the belt collector story is probably on the final stretch now that the Hangman feud is starting. Kenny is apparently pretty banged up and in need of rest as well, so getting back into NJPW title scenes where matches are generally longer and much more hard hitting then in US promotions probably isn't a good idea for his health right now.

Borrowing White is a good opportunity for Impact as he's a guy that can more credibly beat Kenny then anyone on their roster, has a ready made angle for it as the current leader of Bullet Club and can then elevate a main event face for Impact as he's great at being the guy you want to see get beaten. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out over the next couple of months.

The only issue I'd have with all that is that Kenny vs White needs a bigger crowd than what Impact has right now. Maybe with things opening back up they can build a PPV around it in a good wrestling city and draw a good number.

 

Next Impact PPV (Bound For Glory on October 23rd) is gonna be in my hometown of Las Vegas, if that helps the audience situation any.

 

Vegas was good for AEW, WWE are going there for Summerslam and it's a good place for people to travel to from out of town.

I'd definitely be grabbing tickets for BFG if I lived there, good opportunity to see folks from 4 different promotions in one place.

 

MITB is around the corner. Who do you guys got for the men's/women match?
I predicting/rooting for Big E and Liv to win the briefcase.

(Just for fun but my fantasy booking would have Big E win then cash in on Kofi after he defeats Lashley but obviously that won't happen. Also for the women match I am rooting for Liv but I just can't see any of the the participants doing anything interesting with the MITB,only thing that would be interesting to me is if Becky returns or Sonya takes the spot.)

You guys experiencing a few buffering/loading issues? During the Women's MITB it was buffering for days so I exited and clicked on it again and Liv was limping,dunno if was a legitimate injury or part of match.

No technical issues here. Also, unfortunately I did not notice Liv get injured. Hopefully that is not a major injury if so.
