Hasbro PR department finally came back from rewatching the 86 movie for the 1986th time to give us this reveal. Bravo! I’ll be getting Jolt, Grindor and Sideswipe, but this is such a laughably bad attempt at a reveal, especially now that they have shown up in stores. While I will defend the Hasbro design team, their marketing team really needs to put in some work.

 

So I\'m guessing these will be what goes up Tuesday. Neat... only want Jolt as Grindor and Thrust are passes due to just not being interesting enough (I\'m waiting for Thudnercracker and Skywarp, honestly) and BUmbleboee... I already have his concept camaro figure, don\'t need a little Sam

Unfortunately going to have to give u an F due to poor wording and lack of basic sentence structuring that made everyone’s brain implode.

I legitimately cannot remember if I even ever saw any of these guys aside from Bumblebee in the movies.

 

I keep waiting for them to preview an SS'86 Snarl with an Escape from Autobot City set of figures only to never see the figure again afterwards.

 

Grindor was the blackout rip off in the forest fight. The rest have appearances so minor hasbro forgot what movie one of them was in.

Jolt had a fairly minor role, but you had to have not watched the movie to not notice him.

 

I’ve had Thrust wishlist-preordered on Amazon since April. Says Arriving Aug 4th. Don’t really care about the others. I don’t really collect movie stuff much.

And thrust showed up in the beginning of bee as one of the seekers in a blink and you miss it scene, but it’s a way to get another use from that mold.

But like a lot of minor characters in the films, it’s easy to forget him because they did nothing to make him memorable.

 

To be fair this factor is in play in other transformers media as well, but movie stuff tends to be worse.
