It is in a lot of places, and even that is over-shooting it in certain social democracies.

Longer work days are shit. They’re linked to pretty much every personal health problem and are usually a bad societal sign too.

I had a job where I’d sleep about 4-6 hours a night after getting there at 6 am and staying past 10 pm. The moment it was convenient, my boss still laid me off and my reward was a pinched nerve and torn rotator cuff.

 

Tasty.

 

8 hour days or 40 hour weeks is standard, and a lot of places that pay by the hour avoid going over that so they don't have to pay overtime rates.

Salaried employee, though, don't usually get overtime pay (unless it's in their contract). While I've known a few who were like "it's quitting time" and everyone went home at 5:00, most are content to just keep piling work into their employees with deadlines that necessitate longer hours. For my wife, "slow" days might have her working from 7:30am to 6:00pm, but busier times might be more like 7:30am to 10:00pm.

 

I'll bet the people making Galvatron for KSI were working 80 hr weeks! D:

But seriously, 32 hr, 4-day weeks should be the standard. Every single study has been a massive success, with productivity going up as well as health and happiness.

Just figured out he comes with the thighs collapsed and that they do extend. I was driving myself nuts trying get those filler pipes on the torso unjammed from the leg joints. I think I actually like it collapsed since it hides the joints fairly well in a static pose but its not worth the hassle when trying to pose him. Ugh!

 

Those sliders are there for posing.

Looks to be the UFO Annular Trailer, which was meant for some version of DOTM Optimus Prime. It's not widely available now, but there's a knock-off equivalent from Boku still in circulation.

TF-Direct seems to have some of Boku's version still: BOKU BK-02 LOP Transforming Trailer Silver Version

Well I broke one of the tabs on the arm blades. Transforms and holds together fine, just half the trailer hitch is unsecured, but I miss the extra solidness.

Think I'm gonna sand down any tabs that are hard to do. Transformation is actually fun so I'd rather decrease any undesirable risks. Did that to Challenger and he's 100% even today.

 

Anyone else still waiting for show.z to ship?

 

It's at this point that I'm surprised when some people haven't had theirs ship.
