Looking fantastic! Don't get me wrong, I love what Mattel has been doing with Origins but I would love to see something more in this vein in the official product.

It is, without a doubt, the superior Mer-Man. Don't get me wrong, I like having the vintage toy Mer-Man, but the LoP is just so much cooler.
The armor is definatly cooler which helps... But its all in the head man. He actually looks like a fish! When I hear about an Ocean Warlord, I am kinda expecting someone who looks very fishy like 200X and LOP did.

since BA He-Man didn't come with vacmetal armour due to cost reasons, I would assume that Jitsu won't either. perhaps you could put your faith in that Jitsu would need a lot less of it. maybe some kind of exclusive or limited set in the future?
I’m sure people that prefer it exist in the wider fandom since I’ve never paid it much attention but it is funny how “everyone” seems to overwhelmingly prefer anything to that weird vintage toy head.
I hope that she speaks of Sun-Man's listing as a pre order Origins toy. Maybe a deal has been struck with Mattel?
