If they did it once, they'll be able to do it again. This news is pointless speculation until she says "I will not be in it."

 

Not that I was watching her performance but Michael Bay is partial to smokin hot women in his movies so as long as she is still looking fit theres always a chance!!!!! Bay love the ladies!

 

Good to see all pointless characters be taken out of the movie. Hopefully Simmons, the computer hacker dude, Jon Voight, and the generic army dudes follow suit. Keep Sam and his token female character though.

 

Yeah Josh Duhamel was kind of redundant, I wont miss the army guys if they arent in the sequel but I will miss the Hacker guy! he was funny

 

Riiiiiight. This does not make logical sense as the poster who commented on your statement says - why would you go to a movie called Transformers if you didn't want to see Transformers? It doesn't matter if you are a TF fan or the general movie-going public. You came to see TFs. It'd be like going to see Jurassic Park for more human screen time. Only in TFs, the TFs can think and talk and so they aren't just the generic big evil thing.

My gf is def not a TF fan and she enjoyed the scenes with the TFs more than the scenes with the humans.

 

According to the leaked treatment, Simmons character and the underground secret society play a very large role in TF2. But I hope they keep that to a minimum.

I think all the generic army dudes need to be taken out. Its alright to have army dudes, but only as nameless guys running around getting smashed by Decepticons and saved by Autobots. I don't think we need to know the linguistic beliefs of the army dudes, webcam sessions with the pregnant wife, or anything else like that.

 

What!? People don't like Simmons? Tuturro is one of the only actors besides Shia who seemed like they were putting their all into it/knew what they were doing (yes he was SUPPOSED to be very character-like, not a supporting actor from the Godfather or something).

 

Yeah, I'm actually working on a fan-edit of the movie (taking out all the stupid fart jokes, the peeing on people, and the like) and I've COMPLETELY removed the hacker storyline from the movie and the only difference now is that there's not an annoying Aussie and a bunch of black stereotypes.

 

Guess I'm on the wrong side of the fence...I liked her character in the film... 

 

Off topic but on the same page I noticed a video with Gillian Anderson about a new X-Files movie. Anyone heard anything about this? I didn't know it was in the works.

 

I didn't like him because they didn't characterize even him that much. The movie was so confusing that I barely had enough time to develop an opinion of any of the human characters. I just ended up disliking all of them.

The ones that were the most annoying were the car salesman, the hackers, the nerdy dudes, Sam's mom and dad, and the army dudes. Jon Voight was pointless.

Shia was good. His girl was ok.

 

Thank goodness for small favors. I hope they keep the humans in the next movie at the bare minimum.

 

She sucked hard anyway...and not in the good way.

Yes indeed! One of several fav memories of Botcon 07. I wouldn't mind seeing her again in TF2. Oh well.

 

no offense to her, but as said before, the only reason she was in the movie was "hotness," and as far as that goes, I'd prefer watching Megan Fox for an hour to her. I'm not really into blondes.

 

I think she did a good job on TF1, she's very attractive and I love her accent ... but, her part was not needed. If you wanted the government angle, you could've had it without Maggie and Glen going to the dam.
