Gah, enough about the colors. Go buy NA Devy if they bother anyone so much.

What’s going on in the comparison photo here? I understand you can extend the toe or not, but is it an illusion that one leg seems to be extended longer than the other?

Cool, I'll add that to the mental list of ways going toon to a fault detracts from the end result. Snapshots from animation with compressed color palettes are not exactly a good target. The only thing I can respect is that some people might have that particular color scheme from part of the '86 movie as their nostalgia pull for the Constructicons, much as many of us have the G1 toys or cartoon as our biggest relational pull to the characters. So if it works for them, that's cool.

MS Scrapper is bulky and strong,is just that for this bot I prefer the nice look of toon but if I have chance I'll buy also this Devy in 2021.Toon Devy is fine and all but also a strong one shouldn't miss in a little Devy collection.

The colors seem to have more pop to them, but every shoot they look different color wise, because of lighting. So we'll just have to wait and see, when we will have them in hand very soon.

Not just lighting. The hardware used to take the picture matters just as much, and then so do both the hardware and software used to display the picture elsewhere.

I don't get why so many on this site never seem to learn this lesson, even though it crops up several times a year in all parts of the hobby.

We’ve all been down this road with MS and the nylon plastic. Bumblebee’s pale yellow washed out color, Cliffjumper, all the nylon figures to some degree. They’re just not vibrant and the color doesn’t saturate as well with the nylon.

And not only that, but one of our members was kind enough to translate from one of the Chinese reviews of these two Constructicons where they confirmed it and had the toys in hand.

These will be a pale lime green and wine red-purple.

But, at this point I’ve just accepted it, I’d rather just appreciate the sculpt and engineering. The colors aren’t that bad, it’s just something we have to accept with MS. (Or not, a lot of people go with NA just because of the materials and finish.)

This here, this is the response I always wait for.
Like I said before some are so picky they should either start making their own figures or keep to MP level.
So long people had Hulkie and now 2 so much better designs come out and nothing but complaints for the most part on the way how they do it.
The sculpt and engineering is so much better and yes they are part formers but who really cares is you want a nice display.
I have no NA so I can not comment on quality but even with 1 eye I can see that the paint is high level on their figures.
I just like the MS style more and I can accept the little flaws or the less vibrant colours, just like I accepted it before with the older designs.
If something comes out and is much better compared to what we had before, it is a win for me

Yes, I think a lot of us know why the colors are different on every new/different shoot and yes the color of nylon plastic is less saturated.
I love the stuff, but I was really just wondering how they'd look in hand. Won't be long until we find out.

I'm amazed by the engineering, even the way how MS designed the limb modes, everything tabs in everywhere, looks rock solid.

I just viewed Deluxe Baldwin his review of the NA Bonecrusher/Scavenger set and I had a feeling of being underwhelmed by them. Yes, the colors are bright and the materials will be good, no doubt, but they just looked plain and simple to me. But not everyone will enjoy a more complex/engineered figure, at least there's options..

Yeah I watched the same review and thought the same.

I’d been thinking about getting NA for the individual bot modes but they’re just not looking impressive enough.

You can really tell the Hulkie designer had his hands on the new NA one.
Just watched the review, too bad about the waffle arms and heads, for NA, you do expect more.
We all hold different standards of value but these are not $50 figures to me.

    Ok hear me out.
It's called a lowboy trailer. Long all can attach to the wheel section and the trailer splits folds up and becomes the thighs. The goose neck hides Devastators head then attaches to Hook and the tractor does like mixmasters feet and becomes the forearms.

Then obviously it transports bonecrusher and scavenger

    Because a seventh Constructicon!

I actually like it. Even the name Lowboy as the character name.

Because some people are more comfortable with partsforming when they can have the excuse that it's relevant to the alt mode.
Even though the G1 cartoon that everyone's so hot for has stuff just inexplicably appear from off-screen during transformation :lol
