Saw Slag and Grindor in person today, but I could not bring myself to pull the trigger on them. Found them at a local vintage toy store. I won’t name the store, but it’s located in Grove City. Normally, I don’t mind supporting local and I’ve had good experiences at this store before, but $95 for Slag and $79 for Grindor is absolutely ridiculous. And given the price disparity in the two figures which are from the same wave, it’s obvious the guy was definitely price gouging Slag more because of how highly anticipated he is. Luckily, I found later today that Cmdstore has the new Leader Wave with Grindor and Slag in stock right now. Already put my order in for $123 TOTAL for the set. Fairly reasonable bargain for the both of them figuring in taxes and shipping. The whole situation just makes me a little bummed out still.

 

That's straight up scalping. It would be different if they were figures no longer in production, but for god's sakes that wave is just starting to be released. Good on ya for not supporting that price gouging crap.

 

I wouldn't pay those prices. They're new, not rare; eventually they should be more widely available.

I found a lone Grindor at Blue Ash Target. I want him but I also don’t. So he’s still there.

 

Xenia Walmart had 1 each of the Netflix Sparkless Seeker and Primal/Rattraps this afternoon. I picked them both up, but I think this is the first time they've been spotted in the Dayton area so I figured I'd post it. That same Walmart had a cardboard display set up a couple aisles over that were filled with the new He-man Masterverse figures. Not my thing per se, but it's the first time I've seen those in stores too. I also stopped at the Beavercreek Target on the way home, which was a total waste of time.

 

Thanks for the heads up on the Masterverse stuff! Just snagged He-man and Skeletor!

Went on a tiny hunt yesterday. Fairlawn Target has a Ractonite if anyone still needs him. Tgey haven't gotten any new stock in months otherwise.
