I’d prefer to keep characters who were part of a team/sub-group together. Hoist for instance can be part of the rest of the 1985 car Autobots like he was in the Marvel comics. Also when there’s a specific sub group that has a gimmick, grouping them together as a team makes it easier to remember what their whole thing is.

How about Bluestreak, Hound, Trailbreaker, and Skids?

Honestly, anybody would do I just want a break from Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide or similar characters. There are more Autobots to use, damn it!

I don't like the combiner teams all that much as a team. But making them more individual/separate from combiner would remove a lot of uniqueness.

I didn’t notice anything but unheated discussion, and there was no giving of shits. Seriously, they were calm observations, not rants.

Unless you’re the type who could mistake Pennywise for Ronald McDonald, then there are distinct differences. Whether they are significant or not depends on the observer. To my eye, IDW Cyclonus looks like an ancient robotic samurai. G1 Cyclonus is just… goofy looking. I realize the oddly-proportioned toy was a difficult starting point from which to create an animation model, but damn. Even as a kid growing up in the 80s, my reaction to him was negative. Had he instead made his cartoon debut on Easter weekend, I would have thought him some sort of sarcastic joke.

did I say rants? I can't see that in what you quoted or what I typed. Weird. I guess you must have interpreted my post that way. Funny how the brain does that.

I guess I had the thought that if some one has bothered to type a comment out that they on some level they care a little bit about what they are saying, even in this thread.

“Heated” discussion, is I believe how you described it. I didn’t quote you as saying the word “rant”, but that is consistent with my interpretation of your comments. I don’t think I’ve ever shared heated thoughts on this site unless someone is being an ass. I mean, this is all about fiction and toys— interesting, but hardly a serious subject.

heated is exactly how I put it, it's even in the quote you took and again 100% right you didn't quote me saying the word rant. I'm glad you said that and I'm sorry your interpretation of my comment lead you to assume ill intent of me and that I was implying people were ranting as it was not my intent.

I think I've said this before, but I never remember...this thread only pops up once in a while.

Paint is overrated and scale is stupid...
    That is all.

I’m sure mine qualifies, too, as I know a lot of people who don’t like toast.

As I said, to each their own. Enjoy your lack of paint and wonky scale, “Sis.”
