"What If?" reference. Nice. Same. Terrax could certainly use an update on one of the new larger baf bodies. Oh, didn't realize that. Probably what the final stretch goal is then. Cool. They do have a habit of making dumb decisions. Though in their defense, the first one was released before the Fox buyout and the second one is an alt-reality version.
I am very tempted to buy this Galactus due to we, the european fans, can buy him through Zavvi But the problem if the HasLab based in Transformers: Victory is finally something different than Victory Saber because I want a titan class Liokaiser and should be very dangerous to my wallet to buy both projects
Assuming (unlike the side Sentinels) you want the heralds, wouldn't including them as unlocks be exactly what you wanted?
There's the bonus of getting them in one fell swoop if they are unlocks, but then that takes away from other potential accessories that some might want. A classic-styled head among the big wants looking around the net. Wouldn't be surprised if that's the first-tier unlock honestly.
So let's say it doesn't reach 14,000 in a week, do you think they will show off what the first stretch goal is regardless?
The SDCC Marvel Legends Thanos Imperative set had a skeletal Galactus on the box, maybe it's from that storyline? I never read it so I don't know for certain.
At that size and transforming it would cost well over a thousand. I don't know what it is about Japanese imported IPs like Voltron or Robotech/Macross but they're soooo expensive!
So for unlocks, aside from the ones already speculated (assorted heralds, maybe an alternate head). I am thinking Ultimate Nullifier Mini worldship something to homage his Lifebringer Galactus persona elemental converter Super obscure but would hook hardcore Galactus fans like myself: Tyrant Just speculating/wishful thinking. Yeah that box is really cool. That Galactus is called the Galactus Engine, and is many times larger than the prime/mainline Galactus. It also has no body, and more of a long spinal cord with the skeletal head and helmet attached. It's the most similar looking image to be sure. It's just that it's an alternate reality Galactus that doesn't have a bipedal body.
To be fair there's usually a ton of engineering and/or a very limited run. But a Voltron that size that also splits up into lions would be in huge danger of being a floppy mess, I'd think.
I'd be all over a Voltron at this scale and price. I'll back Galactus eventually, probably at the last minute. At the rate it's funding, it'll reach the target by the day's end. Currently 2,576. I HOPE it comes with a cool Silver Surfer, even though we've already gotten two of them. I missed out on the first Walgreen's Surfer.
actually, now that I think of it, a Franklin Richards add on would certainly go with Galactus. The connection might be lost to more casual Legends collectors though.
I'll back when the surge in backers tapers down. As Unicron proved it doesn't matter where you back, it just matters how the warehouse sorts and ships it out.
