Frustrated that they didn’t reveal even the first tier. 14k is a big number for a non troop builder and to have tiers on top of that makes me worried we won’t reach them. That said, I’m in for one. Absolute worst case I know I’ll be able to sell him if I change my mind down the road.
My wife is telling me to just do it, but I don't know, $400 is a bit steeper than I was anticipating. Though, I guess since I'm not going to come across a PS5 anytime this year in stores maybe I should...
I don't follow crowdfund trends all that much, but isn't it normal for most of the backings to occur at the very beginning and the very end?
Yeah. The ones who are super excited go in first, then everyone else either procrastinates or wants to see if the tiers they want are definitely going to be hit. Considering they haven't even released the tiers...
At that size it better transform and their better be pilots in the head Anyways I won't back this unless we know we're getting some or most of his Hearlds bcuz if I can't do this I dont want it!!!!!
I hope they're not unlocks and they're just Legends figures. The ones included with the Sentinel do nothing for me and were wastes of unlocks.
I didn't even know this was coming out until the stream started, and I was 20 minutes late. I'm a huge Galactus fan....I even have the #1 authorship on the Wikipedia entry for Galactus. And coincidentally, I just sold my toy biz BAF Galactus and shipped it out on Tuesday...I had no idea of the existence of this thing. It seems an upgrade is in order! I don't collect Marvel Legends. Only experience with Haslab is Unicron. Is it out of the question for the last stretch goal to be a full blown legends scaled figure of one of the heralds? I'd like someone other than SS...maybe Morg, or Terrax, or Stardust even. Maybe wishful thinking.
I don't see any major difference with the head to the one on my Marvel Universe version, so it doesn't bother me. I would have loved a Kirby head, but I've resigned myself that figures will never look 100% like they did in the books by a specific artist, they can only mimic their style in at least the asthetics, and I'm okay with that. This Galactus is just fine as he looks close enough to his classic design and matches what I have currently, but is bigger with better articulation. Anyway, for the picture I showed, I was more posting that because when Galactus first showed up he had flesh arms and legs.
The HasLab Sentinel included two full-scale Marvel Legends figures via stretch goals. So, no, it's not out of the possibility. I would expect that it probably wouldn't be a fan favorite like Surfer who they know they can make bank on at retail though. I'm expecting Nova honestly. She's really popular enough with fans to be a draw, but not someone that the average retail buyer would recognize.
Absolutely. But I'm such a Galactus nerd that there's no way I'm not all in on this. Marvel Cosmic is my all time favorite wheelhouse so I've been waiting for this. I will be unbelievably bummed if this doesn't get funded. I will take any and all the heralds. I'm thinking it would be one of the remaining three OG ones first: Air-Walker, Firelord or Terrax. Terrax being my favorite, I would love to see him on a new updated buck rather than his old baf one.
Also, from Beta Ray Bill: Godhunter, though it's much less skeletal and more emaciated. I do think, perhaps unintentionally (or maybe not, though they did say on the stream the skeletal face was his hungry face) that the skull face is an homage to this classic Galactus cover, from Fantastic Four 257, where Death and Galactus have a chat.
Backed at around the 1800’s! As for stretch goals pretty much guaranteed to be a classic head, hopefully another SS for the ones that missed out on the Walgreens exclusives.
