Shit like this is why I've moved away from the so called "high end collectible" toys; too much money, not enough QC! And the SHFSS Rider #2 and Amazon I have are actually really nice, Amazon in particular, so I'm pretty disappointed by this.
Does anyone know if any Japanese collectors are raising a stink over Social Media? I don't use the Twitter or Facebook but am curious if any of this is reaching Bandai of Japan.
I'm going to violate your ask because I don't quite understand? Instead of "Masked Rider" they use "Kamen Rider" in english (like in Dragon Knight) which seems... better to me?
You might be better off. The cracks seem to have expanded a bit from me taking a picture of them. Doubt it given they never cared years ago when Ghidorah's wings were fucked up on the MonsterArts.
Did they ever do anything for that Imagination Works Goku figure that had similar issues? You'd think they would've said something about that at least considering it was a brand new, "premium" line that they solicited a second figure for.
I was already thinking of dropping the SHF line again between the price and their small size, but this will probably push me to actually do it.

Hi guys, remember when I asked about Gundam Marker to fix a paint chip on my Black v2's antenna? I fixed it. Thanks to Gundam Marker EX XGM02 Shine Silver pen. I just dab it on a cap bottle and brushed it carefully. It's my first time doing a fix custom paint work on a toy. I was surprised the antenna looks more authentic than the original color. Anyway regarding @Dr Kain 's post.. Damn, that's so bad. But I pre-ordered Shadow Moon v3... I have no choice but to get Black v3 and probably suffered the same fate as you. Maybe I'll the figure in vanilla pose most of the time just to prolong the life of that rubber shit. But it's kinda disappointing that I paid premium on the toy that i cannot fully enjoy playing. F*ck Bandai. I really do hope the rumors of the 3RD PARTY company giving a FIX on Black v3's rubber shoulder is true...
Much better if we can ask as someone that can contact Tamashii Nations in Japan via E-Mail in their customer care concern and let's see if the company will reply. I think they will not answer the issue via Social Media. I think sending them a ton of e-mails about this MIGHT turn things around.
SHF Upgrades does have a kit for Black V3 coming out later in the year that includes a set of larger shoulder pads. It's meant to be more show accurate, but I think the larger shoulder pad would help hide the cracked rubber better than the stock shoulder pads. Too bad it's only available with the other items in the kit such as light-up head and belt, which I'm not sure I'm interested in. Hopefully they will either offer the shoulder pads individually or make even bigger shoulder pads to hide the rubber cracking, or come up with a replacement for the cracked Bandai rubber.
I sent an email off to AmiAmi inquiring about the rubber bits on Black and sure enough, they were absolutely unhelpful and didn't offer any compensation. I don't get Japanese companies sometimes.
Yo mate, maybe you (and anyone who got VICTIMIZED by crack Black v3 rubber) can try out this too.. TAMASHII NATIONS Customer support or this one Support – Bandai
talk about customer service.. I guess, Bandai is doing the Hasbro manner huh? I wonder if the designers tested their product in 1 year span if the rubber sleeves cracked or not.. I believe NOT.
Not sure what you mean by the Hasbro manner as I've always had Hasbro respond to me any time I ever had an issue.
