Yeah they are great. Compatible both directions, though I prefer facing down. Only slight issue I had (and I emphasise slight) was that the hole that Breakdown’s adapter slots into needed a little sanding to fit. Very happy otherwise
Just heard back from the seller - sadly, he 's not making anymore at the moment and has no plans to do so in future either (BIG sigh).... I don't know whether its because he recently got 2 negative feedbacks and decided its not worth the hassle or what the reason is. But MAN does he have a HUGE amount of positive feedback for this item. He's sold 71 of this item so VERY clearly he knows what he's doing. And for what its worth, if you dig into the 2 disgruntled customers complaints, you'll find they can't (or refuse to read) the full description of what you get and don't get. Uncouth buffoons!
The seller is a member on here and was just talking about making more kits sometime in the future. See above and look one page back for the full conversation. I'm pretty sure he's going to make more kits in the future or else Im sure he would have just posted the STL files somewhere for people to print themselves. Not many people involved in the community would just let such an awesome mod die away, I wouldn't think anyways. So just keep checking in on the thread in the future and it might be easier to buy directly on here form him and then he doesn't have to pay ebay fee's either.
Maybe when DX9 release the last 2 G2 Stunticons our esteemed brother might go back to production again - for G1 and G2 coloured adaptors. Man those G2 colours are trippy....
My apologies, i didn't want to scan through 360some pages - Dead End comes with some random leg? What's that about?
IIRC each DX9 Stunticon (with the exception of Capone) comes with parts for a build-a-figure Orion Pax.
That makes sense, it’s too bad my breakdown didn’t come with one. It came with this weird looking fan thing that is apparently a nod to the scene where Megatron is building them.
Breakdown doesn't come with any parts of the Orion build-a-figure. The first piece comes with Wildrider.
Fyi..my dragstrip did not come with the last piece i contacred the distributer and they sent me the piece..idk if distributers had to adf them seperatly?..also this was g1 version..and to give props where due the distributer i used was TCP
Why wouldn't they? It took over three years for them to release all the G1 versions, they've released 3 G2 members in 12 months. Seems likely it will continue.
This is the best reply. Why wouldn't they indeed. Everything is basically done from the G1's all they have to do is design a new box and change the mold colors. Seems easy enough to do for a company to make some extra cash. With the speed at which they released the G2's I would assume they are right on track as well.
Several online stores I connect with are advising of incoming D14 Capone reissue later this year. Would be nice if it included the transforming beetle gun.
Yeah, I get people are worried because DX9 lost all their designers and are effectively doing nothing new. But G2 Breakdown was announced about the same time that news came out, and they still released it and 2 more G2s since as well as a couple other re-releases/recolors. Like if they put all that stuff out and then they lost all their designers, I'd be worried. But they've done work since then. I mean, it is possible they were like, let's randomly put out a few more things and then stop, but they know this is easy money. It is funny how this stuff goes- people were getting all pissed that XTB was taking so long all, DX9 beat them to the punch, and wouldn't it be funny if FT did too. And its not like XTB was that slow with it, DX9 and XTB were announced at the same time, they just front ended the releases and the later ones just took longer and longer, and the test shots didn't help any since that just made people more impatient. Meanwhile, DX9 took pretty long to get out the armbots, but they also forwent previews so those both basically seemed to come out of nowhere. In the end, DX9 finished first, but XTB finished a few months later. But people think XTB took way longer than DX9 did even though the time to announcement to complete release was only off by a few months, its just DX9 space theirs out better which lead to less freak outs. But yeah, now that DX9 and XTB's normal releases are done people are talking doom and gloom all, "XTB is never gonna finish their toy or G2 decos?! Where the eff are those! They're never gonna be released!" (and they literally just released Toy Motormaster this week) and "When is DX9 going to release the remaining G2s! They must be done and shuttered their doors forever!" (when it hasn't even been half a year since the last G2 release and there's been longer waits for their stuff). Even FT, the same people who were poking fun at XTB and actually thinking FT was going to finish their Stunticons before XTB did (technically, they still have a little less than a year to say they did, since their Stunticons were announced a year later than XTB and DX9s, so their time between announcement and full release could still be less than both) are like, "Where's Bandit and the frame! Its never gonna finish!" (The bigger worry is actually getting a PO when they do finally announce these) I know waiting sucks, but these should all come eventually.
Waiting does suck and we are spoiled these days with the internet and twitter. It's the radio silence that is making so many uneasy
Waiting does suck. BBTS promised me Dx9 Capone last Nov 2020, but looking at other retailers there is only this vague Oct 2021 estimate. I need my original G1 Capone as he's a pretty big hole in the middle of this combiner.
Yup, POd Capone from BBTS last October and here we are. I've made up my mind that whoever gets him first between ShowZ and BBTS is where i'm buying it from. I can't take the wait any longer and what's worse is I have every other member of the team including the G2 bots but no Capone to stick them to!
