Dang yall people in the Dallas/Fort Worth area are finding some good stuff. None of my Walmarts even carry leader class. I have to go to my Target to find leader class. None of my Walmarts have the He-Men Revelations figures yet. I'm wanting to find me Slag and Grindor. Was able to get all my Zack Snyder McFarlane Justice League figures from Walmart online.

Went by the Cinco Ranch Target and it was pretty much a bust. They looked pretty cleaned out and I'm guessing if they already had Grindor and Slug/Slag someone already got them. Also went by the Fulshear Walmart on 1093 and they didn't have anything much either. Was hoping to find the new He-man Revelations figures but they had none. I guess I'll just went until my pre-ordered ones come in.

Sorry man. Hate being on the receiving end myself of missing something I'm looking for. Hopefully no hard feelings.

I know this is a little off topic, but it does deal with Texas and Toys. Does anyone else watch "A Toy Store Near You" ? I just watched season 3 and was curious what the DFW folks here think about Jayden's Toys that was featured in episode 1.

Jayden's toy stores are always way overpriced. Every time I go in there I leave empty handed. Just stopped going.

I haven’t watched the episode yet (will have to check it out)…but I’ve been a long time customer off and on with that store over the years, from when it was in the small Random shop off I35, to when it moved into the Suburbs, to the Mall in Lewisville, and it’s move now to Stonebriar Mall.

at first I was a big advocate for the store. Felt like the prices were fair and competitive with the market and it seemed like they worked good deals to keep customers coming back.

As the store got older and bigger, I’d have to agree with @Squirrel, prices got to the point where they were higher, as an unspoken “gotta have it now,” “we got it first,” and as an assumed increase in overhead expenses approach to pricing strategy set in. The inventory focus too seemed to shift to “in box brand new to the market items” over loose & vintage collectibles.

Additionally, I was talking with someone else in the area about some of the vintage shops around DFW and he summed up the owner well: He’s someone who comes across as wanting to be famous. Good or bad, thats the sense I get that I probably could not have summed up more succinctly. The George Michael band, the Kickstarter for trying to do their own web series (link below), the “Jayden” Logo…it all kind of makes more sense when you see it through a that lens.

I went there about a month ago and they had the new Marvel Legends Scarlett Witch for like $40. Then I went to the Movie Trading Co. across the street and they had her for $25 lmao. Not the best store price-wise

I’ve only been to Jayden’s Toys a handful of times since they opened at Stonebriar Mall and I’ve bought things maybe two times out of five. They moved locations within the mall recently and the newer space is smaller than the previous one. The prices are generally high, but there are some decent deals to be had for the loose figures, which is really what I check for. It’s also kind of inconsistent, they had a TR Kup for $30 this past Sunday but my son found and bought a CW Hound for $15.

    Gamestop Hulen has 2 Transmutate.
1 is open for display...10% off on open box toys. Deep cover has left the building.

Lots of Reaction if you're into those...Blitzwing, Rumble, Ramjet and others.
