Most people here keep speculating that the Haslab figure will be Starsaber. I have never seen Victory so is he a big boy like Titan sized? So far all the Haslab stuff for all their brands have been at least a few hundred dollars and I am wondering if Starsaber justifies that price range or if Starsaber will not be the only figure, as in it is actually a set such as Starsaber with Deathasaurus or a big combiner set such as Liokaiser or Dinoking.
I'm going to laugh when this ends up being nothing but a properly dubbed version of victory. You know that might actually be kinda cool with some updated writing.
45USD for Ravage? That's almost leader price. A bit hard to swallow that he's worth that much. If it's a Pulse exclusive, that also means it'll cost even more to get him from other retailers, since there's no Pulse Australia. Looks like this will be a pass for me, which I am not happy about. FUCK EXCLUSIVES!
Not John Barber. James Roberts was the one who came up with that WTF interpretation of Star Saber from his fanfic group. Take it up with James Roberts. Guy must've thought it was fun drinking out of the tears of anyone who were Victory fans. (Can't imagine what the Japanese community thought since they actually grew up with Star Saber. It must've been like seeing Barney the Dinosaur be turned into a child-hating sociopath.)
There is an Alternate Universe where Micheal Bay made a Gundam Movie and launched it into pop culturedom, and Transformers has a small but loyal as frick fanbase with steady figures and reissues instead of one line and go F.Y.S.
are we really so verbally anti-TFW that we're making up alternate universes to prove how much people on TFW suck. there's so many "TFW SUCKS" posts that i wonder why these people don't just leave if it sucks. not like there's a voting system to fix whatever sucks.
Turns out its crowdfunding for everyone to own a 'highly collectable' bag with 1000 fob keyrings with the words "TRANFORMER VICTORY" (deliberate mispelling) printed on them in Papyrus font
I think Sky-Byte was done best in the Cyberverse cartoon, but his T30 toy is my favorite toy of him. He needs an updated toy. The MP Scourge made by Fans Hobby is incredible, I have him with Unique Toys MP Combaticons, and they look great together as a throw back to the Ruination crew with Scourge. I think Hasbro updating these in chug would be cool. I think Hasbro is still setting up a game plan on how to release more separate series in chug. If Scourge is in the live action movie, they probably will be updating his RID toy in the near future.
I\'m going to go out on a limb here and bet myself a cheeseburger (this way I win no matter what) that this doesn\'t get enough pre-sales to get made. I appreciate the hardcore fans at Hasbro who want to see this thing get made, but I can\'t see enough consumers getting this when there is near zero awareness of this version of Transformers... at least here in the U.S. I certainly wouldn\'t buy it myself because I have no connection/nostalgia for this (but props to all who are pumped about this thing... hopefully I\'m wrong and you get this guy).
This entire fandom is nothing but stockhold syndrome for all of us. Let's be real, we'd all be happier if we stopped even looking at Transformers.
That would be awesome. Was he in Victory? It would make more sense. He is a more popular character. I never saw Victory. I saw Super God Masterforce and it was pretty good. How big would this figure be, also. These projects are always pretty big. I could see them doing an MP version of something in this fashion. I am going with Power Master Prime for my guess.
I'm not Anti anything, but I like making fun of those complaining about how they don't have that one figure of a character in a blink and you miss it scene or was misnamed cause the organization of G1 was a joke beyond jokes and two iconic characters were forever a debate on their colours I just try to make people see their stuffiness and if I can't, I enjoy the company of those that can and try to make the best of it
There's also a reason the initial TF films got off the ground so well compared to GI Joe. That first Joe movie completely missed what general audiences knew about the franchise. So they sat down and saw accelerator suits and went "the hell is this?!" For all it's flaws, the first few TF movies knew to focus on the robots.
He mostly appear to be defeated and rebuilt as Victory Leo. Basically, his ultimate fate is to himself become a 'magic mushroom'!
