This is exactly what Haslab is and the fact that people still don't get that after several successful campaigns is pretty surprising
So what are peoples hopes with a big full budget Star Saber? One of mine are that they manage to fully integrate the Brain Master gimmick, while still being able to retain full head poseability. Also hoping for a Commander class Deathsaurus to get made to go with him, along with the rest of the breast and brain masters. And Motorvator GenSelects repaints please. I want a new Flame.
This. Fuck Hasbro for ripping off on regular fans. Also Ill bet a million bucks this is entirely going to be designed by Takaratomy's genius veteran designers and only " supervised" by the clowns at Hasbro.
I like Victory enough that, well, look at my screen name. But even I have a hard time recommending that anyone watch it. It is a great example of 80s anime at it's cheesiest. It has AMAZING moments like the battle between Liokaiser and Starsabre/God Ginrai, and most of the last episode, but it is most often painful to get through.
Clearly one of the stretch goal is a voice box for saying Victory line and a further stretch goal will make him say IDW lines involving murder, religion and being a strawman. /s
I feel like Victory Leo's transformation is arguably one of the absolutely easiest transformations to engineer that has ever existed in the history of Transformers. The guy quite literally just does a push up while spinning his beast legs out. The effort required for engineering this possible stretch goal Victory Leo would be significantly minor compared to the effort behind the Star Saber itself.
I can't tell if you're just a troll, or if you're actually being serious. I really hope it's just a bit and you're a troll.
I think your distinction you point out is fair. To be honest, that wasn’t really the main point of what I’m saying. I was trying to say that it seems silly to see a difference between two niche robot designs that few people recognize to begin with when it comes to deciding who is a normal release and who isn’t.
Been watching these boards for a long time asking Hasbro and Takara to do CHUG Victory stuff. When this goes live, y'all better step up to the plate and get this thing.
Okay so either really committed to bit...or just a manchild. It's sad that the latter is far more likely.
So the West isn't allowed to like JG1? I really feel that you need to set your unreasonable hatred for Hasbro aside and enjoy that more people will be exposed to different TF media. And yeah, Takara designers will be involved, like they are with practically all TF releases.
Why yes let's make corporations have people fund their products so we can sell it back to them without incurring any loss on their end all in the name of gauging interests! Corporate socialism is so nice right?! Taking risks be damned. And yes I will not support this insane model thank you!
Good news on the date for ravage. 11/1 will be expensive with him and the 2 amazon sets both set to release that day. New Haslab will definitely be a wait and see for me. I have no real connection to the JG1 past Headmasters. I didn't even buy the MP Star Saber.
I hope he doesn't come with Deathsaurus so that guy can get a chance at mass retail. Maybe retooled into TM2 Dragon Megatron.
Star Saber ONLY would be a big let down for a HasLab project and would unnecessarily make him very rare. They should make him together with Victory Leo IF he's going to be this HasLab project.
