We get it they're at a freaking hotel at some point in the damn movie.

Can we get some new photos? Like the other characters alt-modes?

Heck I'd even be willing to wait longer with no other photos if it meant we got to see the bot designs.

When Montreal looks like New York in 1990. Shooting of the 7th film in the “Transformers” franchise, “Rise of the Beasts” at Dorchester Square.

 

Outside of Mirage, the Transformers themselves have been pretty elusive so far. We're really only seen him and (possibly) Bumblebee. Hopefully we get some glimpses of them soon. I especially want to see Optimus' new truck mode.

 

Yo that was an Omnibot altmode!

 

I see no reason why they couldn't build an operable F1 car facsimile, DOTM had fake NASCAR vehicles (albiet loaded with guns). Hell, Iron Man 2 had the F1 race in Monaco which absolutely would have required at least one F1 racecar prop.

 

Where have we possibly seen Bee?

 

The very first set picture was of a '70s Camaro from the back, it looked like the one from the end of Bumblebee with bumper stickers and a new license plate. Although it was unclear whether it was a prop car, some kind of promotional thing, or just a fan's car.

 

Promo art usually leaks a few months in advance. I feel confident that we will see something before the end of the year.

Anyone think Mirage could be the main robot companion for the main human character? Or do we still expect that to be for BB?

 

Probably still Bumblebee. Optimus is going to be main character for the Autobots and Mirage has probably gotten as much of a spotlight as he has cause 1. It's the Car they're currently using for filming right now and 2. 'Meh Jazz'

 

Yes actually, especially now as he’s the only Autobot we’ve seen. I think that he is going to be the car that Noah steals.

There’s also this quote from Lorenzo di Bonaventura from the press event:

“One of the things that Steven has poured into the script is that this is the vehicle and the robot that relates to our lead human characters and takes a prominence that is really significant to the movie.”

 

Yes, from the virtual event it seemed to me that Mirage will be the main robot companion to Noah and will be important character in the movie.

 

Huh, that's a fresh take and i like it. Usually it's always Bee with the human companion.

 

Hopefully this is the case as it would be nice to see another Robot character other than Bee or Prime have more of a central role for a change.

 

I've held the opinion that Bumblebee being the main for six films (well five discounting his own film), hurt the films because it comes off as "you aren't allowed to bond with another Autobot" which this will fix.

I actually like the trinity of Hot Shot as an offroader, Hot Rod the customized car/supercar, and Bumblebee the sports compact. It allows three different baselines for kids; those who prefer jeeps/suvs get Hot Shot, the supercar fans get Hot Rod, and sports car fans get Bumblebee.

But nah, three mains is too hard
