I found a Kickback with a broken hand on the floor of a Boscov's in Selinsgrove around 1986. I wanted to take it to lost and found but my shitty parents made me keep it. Always felt guilty I "stole" some other kid's Transformer because they were too expensive for my family to buy for me. If it happened to be anyone's on this forum, sorry and thank you. Such a cool robot - that purple and black and clear yellow is childhood to me.

Galvatron has arrived. Having inspected the misassembled shoulder situation I'm happy to report that I don't give a shite about fixing it.

 

In a monsterbot mood today, so Repugnus takes the spot for favorite TF today, got this guy when I had a major surgery so he has a lot of memories attached to him

A lot of fans I know ‘imprint’ on figures in this way, including me. It’s another way they are more than “just toys”.

One of the figures than I randomly wanted a lot as a kid despite me usually going for the ones that saw page time in the comics mostly. I got the action master and years later on a random trip to the supermarket saw his CW legends figure. Probably the last time I got that “jackpot” feeling from finding a figure in the wild. Knowing the release dates for everything ahead of time and preorders might be cool but don’t replace that feeling.
