Let's say that you want to move the leg up. Although the clearance around the ball joint is really small, it can be done:
    IMG_20210713_174705.jpg

Now I want to move the leg outward. Again, no problem:
    IMG_20210713_174723.jpg

Now here's the problem: I want to move the leg down again, but with the leg slightly outward. Well, you can, for a bit:
    IMG_20210713_174738.jpg

This is the stopping point: if you pull the leg down further, the clearance isn't enough around the ball joint. Although you might get past it, it will generate stress in the joint

    IMG_20210713_174754.jpg

You may be thinking that the force applied to get past this rotation is nowhere near to be able to create stress marks:
    IMG_20210713_174821.jpg

I thought so, after all, the plastic doesn't feel rigid and even some of the transformation steps require to bend the plastic a bit, right? Well...

    IMG_20210713_174458.jpg

As you can see the bridge between the ball and the waist piece already has a big stress mark. The plastic around this area doesn't have the same properties as the hinges that connect the torso to the wings, for example.

It won't become bigger or break with limited movements or by transforming the figure, but it's a design flaw that could have been avoided by lowering the ball joints a few millimeters or by cutting plastic around the socket sculpt.

I checked the other leg afterwards: Out of the box it didn't have stress marks. Did a movement using both axis at the same time like in the photos and got the stress mark.

Sorry for double posting, but I have a solution and I highly recommend doing this before moving the legs for the first time:

Take a screwdriver and remove this screw:
    IMG_20210713_182823__01.jpg

Once the screw is out, gently move the waist piece down from the chest a few millimeters:
    IMG_20210713_182854__01.jpg

Once the waist is lowered, insert the screw again, but not until the end. Now the legs can move freely, allowing for diagonals with the ball joints that weren't possible before:

Received. Thick materials, made with ABS, but be careful transforming him, it's very complex and rigid, no stress marks but they're easy to appear if you force it. It has no wrist rotation and the articulations in overall are a little bit limited. It's a good figure, very good painted and finished, but I think it's the last one Triplechanger that I bought from MFT if they don't change the materials. Recommended but be careful handling him. A bad twisted panel can snap something.

Good tip. Mine showed up 15 minutes ago, so right on time. Helps the leg range of motion even loosening only slightly.

Does lowering the hips effect either of the vehicle modes?

i would contact your seller and ask for a replacement. i dont want to jinx you or anything. but that hip is totally going to snap off on you.

it is repairable if it breaks with a pin. but i am trying to save you some future heartache.

Got this guy in finally! Yeah, I do wish they were sized better with each other:
    mft 3triplec bots.jpg
    But its not too bad.
    mft blitz tank.jpg
    mft blitz jet.jpg
The transformation isn't too bad, like things get in the way of each other, but its not too complex. Though still way more complex then I feel it needs to be- like the whole arm/tread transformation is wild. I'm not a Transformer engineer, but surely there was a simpler way to do that. Plus swinging all that on those tiny armatures at the waist does seem kinda scary, hopefully no one's snapped those.

Its interesting that the instructions seem to have the tank cannon facing towards the back of jet mode, as the jet mode seems more balanced with the cannon facing forwards. Plus, its like he has a cool underslung gun in jet mode.

But I think he scales pretty nicely with the MS jets (unfortunately he's a little big for the NA jets):
    mft blitz msseek jet.jpg
    mft blitz msseek jetside.jpg
And I don't think he's too big against them in bot mode:

It is a commen problem with MFT and how the hips are, broke mine on Hound.
I do not handle any MFT figure before I put sillicone oil on the joints, feels ten times better after that with the rigid plastic they use.
Good to know this tip when I get him.

A foxbat is slightly bigger than an f-15, so really should be even bigger no? Or at least longer

Oh, I didn't mean the actual real world sizes of the planes they were based on. Just as "jet plane looking" things, if you glanced at them together, they don't seem out of scale. Its like the Aerialbots- the real life jet modes of the limb-bots are wildly different sizes in real life, but unless you knew that, I don't think as many people say they are totally out of scale like they would the Combaticons.

He's decent, but probably my least favorite of the 3 though. I would definitely like to see MS take a shot at all 3 of these figures eventually.

My complaints would be no waist swivel, the shoulders don't peg in that well, and subjectively, the plane wings sit too low on his back.

He's good though and definitely worth the investment.

The shoulder on my copy can solid peg in and yeah kind of wish for more waist swivel rather then limited swivel and also hopping for a wrists swivel as well. But the price is good what can I say, gonna wait for NA or MS take on blitzwing.

Applied some grey panel lining marker to the alt mouth and nose to make it pop more.

only place i'm aware of is that he sells these directly from his TaoBao storefront. he has a bunch of decal sheets designed for various random figures from MS, NA and other brands. recently has one for MS SD Arcee.
