Is it wrong my main interest in an SG Soundwave is the potential for a pack in SG Ravage?:D

Wouldn't be surprised to see him in Buzzworthy Bee at some point.

    Soooooo, Kingdom Galvatron.

Where to begin? I think we'll start with the infamous incorrect shoulders; shit happens.

Now, on to the figure itself: amazing, gorgeous and an almost perfect G1 representation of Galvatron.

This thicc herald of Unicron is priced at Leader class and rightly so; he's huge, well built, and includes some interesting accessories. His joints are strong too, everything is super solid. I feel like pictures make him look extra wide and stout, but in person, he's well proportioned and an absolute marvel to stare at.
He really feels like the leader of the Decepticons.

His robot mode features everything you've ever wished for in a modern Galvy figure: big orange boom gun, beautiful head sculpt on a ball joint, movable shoulder pylons, rotatable wrists, chonky legs and an awesome paint job to match. This guy is very well sculpted, and you can just feel the presence and quality oozing out of him.

Transformation is pretty simple, and despite some people disliking the alt mode; I think it's probably the best G1 galvatron alt mode we're going to get. It's also bloody huge. The fact the cannon can be adjusted vertically is a massive plus too.

Okay, now on to the accessories: the matrix chain is awesome, the nemesis guns are a bit of an odd choice in my opinion. Not keen on them, they do make a good matrix stand though. I would include the cannon, but I feel that's an integral part of the character anyway (the cannon is massive).

    B A D S:
I wouldn't actually say anything is a huge downside, but nothing is perfect:
    • The cannon peg has somewhat limited rotation due to being more of a keyhole shape towards the base of it.
    • Shoulders can untab a bit easily
    • FAT treads
    • Battle damage (why)
Despite the cons (get it), buy this big purple robot man. He's the figure a lot of people have been waiting for, and it's obvious that a lot of thought and love went into designing him.

Very random question, but can anyone with the 2010 Drift/Blurr mold and any Titanmaster try and see if the TM's head balljoint is compatible with the Drift/Blurr head? I have seen it done in the Radicons thread, but am not sure if the balljoint fit at all or do I have to widen/sand the head down! Thanks to anyone that's kind enough!

This is a particular and persistent bugbear that really grates upon my nerves as well. What is the bloody point of having a highly complicated international monetary exchange system if some can seemingly ignore it at will?

Well, it's been a busy old week.
While rushing to cook some breakfast on Friday ahead of a work meeting (I was actually off work on Friday. Such is the nature of things just now) I managed to stick a knife in my finger. Great news, as I was off to pick up a guitar in Manchester. I've enjoyed not being able to play the guitar. Tremendously.
Quick trip to a minor injuries unit out in the sticks (going to A&E in Leeds city centre didn't strike me as wise), and my finger was all bandaged up and ready to be kept dry for seven days.

    One for the gore hounds.

Then it was off to Elland Road on Sunday for my second Moderna jab. Hooo boy, does that kick! I was fine until woke up in the middle of the night, sweating like Bezos and Branson at the mention of the word 'justice'. Monday was a total write off as I felt like I was done with one fucker of a flu. I woke up Tuesday with less of a fever but still unable to move my shoulder more than 45 degrees.

Oh, and football. Looking at some of the posts on here, I'm reminded why my grandad had a 'no colours' (football shirts) policy in the house.

And while all that was going on BW Ravage and Fangry get revealed. I must admit, I'm indifferent to everything but Fangry and I'm irritated that I'm going to have to pay premium rates for another three figures I'm not arsed about. HASBLOW *waves fist*. Fangry looks great though. I'm weirdly happy to see a TR mold getting another punt.

And Galvatron has arrived. Having inspected the misassembled shoulder situation I'm happy to report that I don't give a shite about fixing it.

Right, off to do the big catch up.

@Astro-Furby unfortunately no Chrome issues on my side, I somehow put a pre-order in for the Retro Hercules while in a Fugue state at half 5 this morning after an early morning wake up call from the twins.

Ladies and gents, we can go home. Mission complete.

They aren't really. They get a drink in them and they letch at your pics with carnal intent.

Nautica hanging out with anyone sounds like a good idea. Even father Stone.

Alas, I was the poaching bastard. I've been drooling over Mr. Boots epic backdrop for a while.

First shot, hot rod fishing with Daniel in the lava for magma trout. :p

We believe in you Douglas. You'll catch up about the time Scotland actually win the euros, after an epic game against NI.

;)  Liberal application of googly eyes tis my policy

    Once seen....

Isn't it? I have family ties to the solicitors I used, and actually worked there back in the day, and thought it might get me a little leeway on the cost. Nope.

Can't believe your cheeky gits tried to sting you for stamp duty.

    Happy birthday senior Gimbles!

    Beautiful!!

The g2ishness of it definitely pulls at my garish soul.

My resolve on SG Jetfire lasted about as long as it took to locate my wallet.
When I get my display cabinet sorted it will have its own SG shelf.
I’m hoping by supporting this line now we’ll get more SG down the line, especially some more Heroic Decepticons.
From the photos I’m guessing this Jetfire has an alternative head/mask, now I don’t have the original Jetfire so don’t know if it also has a alt head/mask?

Maybe Soundwave, but they’d have to renegotiate a deal with VW and without Flix’s backing for Bee. It feels unlikely when they can just keep sticking his head on Cliffjumper.

They both do, but the original Jetfire's mask won't fit on mine. Just drops off! Am hoping his evil twin's respiratory infection protection will function more fully (spoilers: robots don't have lungs). :D

You speak words of wisdom! I shall imbibe further cans, then press HELL YES on a certain website. Ta! :)

I don't remember seeing anyone report receiving the right stuff yet, did anyone else who'd made a Luna Park order ever end up receiving Ratchet? Still no sign of anything for me, the tracking doesn't work and I get the distinct impression I'm getting the runaround on email now. Probably going to have to give up and get PayPal to claim the money back.

    Yes!

This is beginning to sound like a majority! Hurrah! :D

Yes. Yes you do. That thar be actual real Grimlock (just many years from '85, and lookit that facesculpt) and if you have Gigawatt that's the perfect excuse for a trans-temporal posse! Plus Mirage fits in wherever you can see him. :)

I got mine after threatening them. They are, or have at least become a shill of a seller driven by greed. Your pre-order means jack-shit in the face of those delicious mark-up monies.

    First they sent me Bluestreak.

Some time later they sent me Centurion.

They seem reluctant to tell me when Ratchet will be on his way.
