Cool poses! What is the Stealth Azalea based on? I'm having trouble remembering what the orange face is from.

 

Thanks and I'm not sure what she is actually based on. I only know she was an exclusive from TFCon a few years ago. Possibly based on her creation in IDW?

 

The face sculp itself is based on psycho Arcee from early idw comics where she had a more monstrous jaw that would extend to expose her vampire teeth.

The orange and yellow coloring is to make it look more jacko lantern like since black Arcee released during halloween that year. Like Hellion she's one of few mmc toys where the special edition came out months before the regular edition.

I see so many people freak out about it still when they see it the first time, going oh my god what is that I want it. Which is why I'm fairly adamant all our popular molds should get black recolors since people always go nuts for black recolors.

In regards to black decos being infinitely cool, black and blue is even cooler.

 

Colors are inspired by Combiner Hunter Arcee, and they've done Stealth (Black/Shadow versions) of other figures before. Orange face is just based on Holloween Jack-o-Lantern, but the teeth bearing part is inspired by Psycho Arcee.

 

I actually forgot MMC's Vos and Kaon were getting reissues, still no sight of those anywhere.

 

Has there been any news/rumours of MMC/Ocular max doing the autobot cassettes? I have been holding out ready to throw my money at them.lol

Haven't messed with mine in a while but yeah, Carnifex is one of those legendary figures that just command becoming a centerpiece of any collection.

 

Still love Feral Rex

 

There was a huge fire in my area last year to the point where I almost had to evacuate, and Carnifex was one of few possessions I decided I couldn't let burn.

 

Given the version of Overlord that Carnifex is based on, that is amusingly ironic you say you couldn't let him burn...

 

On that note, I would love to see an alternate flaming head for Carnifex based on this scene and some flame effects for the body. A real fire would probably be more likely though, my state is currently burning again.
