What is interesting to me is when people complain about the fake parts or lack of real world alt mode when there are other Cliffjumpers out there that have a real world alt mode or no fake parts. This one is obviously ment for those of us who want a more toon all around look, much like the official MP Bee

 

I am surprised the fake parts are bothering people. I think FT has done a good job with using it in this case.

 

There maybe a chance it means free shipping on just the pre order (since they are not actually shipping you anything when you pre order) then you pay shipping on a separate order when you fulfill the pre-order. If that makes sense.

 

Would have preferred a more realistic altmode but the robot mode is so good I would probably overlook that.

But it won't matter because he'll be impossible to get ahold of, so he might as well turn into a potato for all it will matter to me.

When FT drop it with their Jazz, this is gonna make for a sweet little Moonbase-1 diorama with Studio Cell or HasLab Unicron's planet mode lurking in the distance.

I often umm and ahh over minor details in FT sculpts at this stage, but honestly got no criticism for this one so far.

Does the laser gun exhaust hatch open as per the Laserbeak pursuit?

Hmmm. I personally like the extra surprised face option on this one - iirc he did that look quite a bit on screen.

FT do that style of angry/screaming face you suggested for so many of their releases and it rarely works out great, tbh. Besides, don't think CJ ever really pulled that face in the toon much, did he? Can't recall.

 

Looks great. I just hope it gets released sometime in the next 4 to 9 years. Lol

For myself though, I think it's a real shame FT doesn't seem to do non-Sunbow redecos anymore since their Diaclone and G2 Dinobots. I'd love to enjoy this engineering as a Tap-out, or their Hoist as as Lift-Ticket, etc. But I fully understand that the money is in cartoon characters.

 

I really really really want to see this next to bee V2. Definitely just want them to match up well and I'm in the minority I think in really digging the V2.

 

Yes they do! They just dont offer free shipping on everything. It is a bit weird how and when they determine what gets free shipping and what doesn't because there have been some super cheap items like when they had Thomas for $279 with free shipping but then have Apache for $199 which is higher than other chinese stores and charge $25 on top of that so it doesn't make sense but there are plenty of items with free shipping.
