I've had a REALLY self-indulgent week. Flix Soundwave is on his way, as well as Beast Hunters Ultra Magnus, but for now, here's reformatted Beast Hunters Optimus Prime, getting to grips with Predaking.
Simple, chunky, but good fun to play with. Absolutely perfect:

 

He's a lovely bot and a vastly underrated one at that.

I thought with his feet and hands hanging out like that, I'd be annoyed, but he's REALLY good fun.

I wish his jetpack was more collapsible and it gets in the way of him delivering and upper-cut to Predaking, but apart from that: love love LOVE him!

 

Football eh, international football brings the same sense of crushing failure to the masses that us mugs who invest far too much time and money into supporting our clubs feel several times every season. Enjoy.

Ordered on Saturday from House of Fraser, arrived today, and they didn't do me dirty with a duplicate. I just hope they come through for the punters who bought Sky Lynx and the Top Gun bot.

 

When he was released, he was the least appealing to me as he looked so cheaply made. I bought him from Home Bargains along with Predaking as he was cheap but ended up loving him.

I painted his sabre as well as his windows as I wasn't a fan of the green plastic

 

Balance request for Transmutate just came through from IDTOYS. Due in on the 14th.

 

He's a great figure. And I just realised he had green boob windows before siege prime. He's the trend setter. I do wish they'd used the face mask head on him, it looks slick as hell on the nemesis version of the mold.

I wonder if the proposed legacy TFP optimus will be of this version? Might be easier to get a Bulkhead repaint from this vehicle mold.

 

Afternoon all. Does anybody know what is happening with Generations Selects G2 Sandstorm? I pre-ordered last year in August from Kapow and there doesn't seem to be any indication when it will be released.

I have an APC toys / Dr. Wu sabre for my "Attack Prime" so I'm not too worried about that, but the green eyes and chest windows aren't my favourite.

Yeah, which is both good AND bad, because they're such completely different body shapes. Yes: they'll both be 4x4 military (ish) vehicles, but Bulkhead's got a really specific rounded shape, his rear wheels are in his feet, his front wheels are by his shoulders. It might work but honestly I'm getting ready for disappointment and it'll be a green Beast Hunters Prime with a big-chin head that they had to make extra tiny so it fits into the transformation.

Please, Hasbro, just re-release the First Edition. I'm begging you.

ALSO: Does anyone know where I could get the upgrade kit with the gun and spare head? Or anyone who could print a half-decent one?
