How big is this Devastator going to be? I saw the video with the girl and the figures definitely looked bigger than I expected, but maybe she's small. I've looked at some masterpiece style combiners and they seem like a huge pain in the ass to combine.

Should be the same size as Menasor around 23cm to the top of the head.
So far Menasor is fine to mess around with, I expect these to be not that hard to combine.

Already cleaned up my mess. All my comments deleted. My apologies.

It will have the same height as Menasor more or less (about 25-26cm). The bots are bigger because they don't have a main whole robot fitted on a trailer like Motormaster. This devy has less additional parts to get the whole robot. But those parts are necessary.

There's a picture of Devastator side-by-side with Menasor that's been posted in this thred 4 1/2 times now, the most recent being just yesterday on page 60.

Devastator will be perhaps half a head taller than Menasor. Menasor is 24cm tall, give or take.

For comparison, 24cm is also the rough height of IF Bruticus and MFT's Omega Supreme. The old DX9 Devastator is only about 19cm tall.

I saw the pic, but not knowing how big that Menasor was didn't help. Having some numbers help me understand what it'll be like.

I know, I was explaining to JJJ why the picture doesn't help until you gave me the numbers.

    1. He starts off by saying this is a 2 pack. I assume you guys are aware of it, cause it's new to me.
    2. Says Scrapper is very close to his G1 vehicle mode. Rolls really smoothly. There's paint on the hub caps.
    3. The back of the vehicle also looks good. He thought the rear of the vehicle would have robot kibble exposed, but seeing the finished product proves that's not the case.
    4. The shovel (or whatever it's called) can move.
    5. The cement mixer on Mixmaster can rotate. Also rolls smoothly.
    6. You can remove the cement mixer on the back. He thinks it looks like a truck. So he tested out an Optimus Prime trailer and it fits perfectly. I believe the trailer is also from Magic Square.
    7. He says Mixmaster's foot transformation reminds him of another figure, especially the way the wheels fold in. I don't know who it is based on the name. He speculates that maybe it can be used to combine with that other combiner figure. He does that's weird little transformation and wonders if it'll fit in another figure's stomach. I don't know the Chinese names of the figure.
    8. He shows off the nylon plastic's flexibility. Not gonna lie, I was sweating watching him do that.
    9. I'm gonna skip the transformation since it's pretty self explanatory. He does mention that Mixmaster's transformation is a little more complicated than Scrapper.
    10. For the robot mode, he says it might be due to his camera, but their colors look more yellow than green. He says it looks more like a lemon green. It's sort of a yellow-ish green.
    11. The accessories include a different head for Scrapper and cement mixer for Mixmaster. It's just slightly different look and size. Since the cartoon can't even decide on how the characters should look, it gives people choices on how they want their character to look. The cement mixer can be plugged in higher or lower. And of course there's an alternate cement mixer that's smaller.
    12. You can tell from the montage that these figures are extremely poseable. Typical Magic Square quality. A lot of double joints for good flexibility. All have an ab crunch. Nice ankle pivots too.
    13. He says the nylon plastic has a "rougher" feel to the figure. Not sure if that's translated correctly. I remember someone saying the Light of Freedom figure feels a little chalk-y, so maybe that's what he's describing as well.
    14. The joints are very smooth. Says Scrappers has a lot of nice little details on him.
    15. One of the things he really likes for both is how they're able to hide most of the wheels in the robot mode.
    16. He goes on to compare Scrapper with the G1 drawing. He points out the round shoulders on the G1 cartoon might be an animation mistake, but the believes they might actually be Scrappers wheels. The Magic Square figure retains that round shoulder, but hides the wheels inside the body. He thinks keeping the round shoulder might be a nod to the original cartoon.
    17. He also points out the wheel on Scrapper is lower in vehicle mode, but once you transform it into robot mode, the wheel sits towards the middle of his calf. He loves that extra bit of attention to detail.
    18. The chest is also very good. Also has more detail on the chest than the cartoon. Fits with the style of Magic Square's products.
    19. Simple size comparison.
    20. He says both figures transformation design is as good as some 3rd party figures. I think he's comparing them to other 3rd party masterpiece figures, but I'm not 100% sure about the term they use for masterpiece figures in China, so it's only a guess. He has a few minor criticisms. With Mixmaster's ab crunch, if you tab in to the little peg he shows off, it locks up the ab crunch. Since he doesn't have the instruction manual, so he's unsure of what that little extra tab that you can flip out does.
    21. Says both figures are really well thought out and extremely ambitious. Looks good from all angles. All the gaps in the back are nicely filled in.
    22. He says he's gonna show off the combined mode... but I think it's just some kind of joke. The joke's over my head.

I'll go back and edit for spelling errors and grammar later.

Damn, nobody works those panels like Magic Square. And they come out looking so clean... well, Scrapper looks clean anyway. Except the back of his legs but that's not even worth mentioning really.
