Finally getting my med school apartment set up, let me introduce you to the Away Team Mk. II!


On the Autobot side of things, there’s ROTF Bee, Evasion Prime, and DOTM Ratchet!

I brought Scrapper and Thundercracker as future customs projects, I think my plan is to swap out the customs bots every time I go home for break. Really excited to get to work on those two!

 

Yea I can post pics. Here you can see for car mode it doesn't all align properly but it does and it doesn't roll that well either. I'm pretty sure the arms bump into the head causing them to stick out a little(I could never transform this mold that well in the first place lol) but it looks good in bot mode to me.

Edit: switched the heads out back to the SS one and yes the arms were being pushed out a little by TLK head. It still doesn't roll all the way but it could just be my copy of the figure. Here is a pic with the SS head

 

This must be the first new figure I've seen on shelves since Kingdom wave one showed up back in Feburary 

Dino finally got a figure that does him justice and I am here for it

Hey guys, just want to share some updates to my ROTF Megatron. He was my first SS custom. I decided it is time to update him with washes and weathering. My new favorite is the addition of silver scratch marks for extra bad assery! View attachment 29144744 .

I haven't really taken pics of my movie figures in a while. Also the first time since I first combined Devastator that I do his crouching pose due to lack of space.

Btw does anyone know if theres a way to pick up spare parts for this guy? I have the battle damaged version, and one of those annoying little flaps that hang off the back of his legs popped off at some point and is nowhere to be found.

Wow, cgi model good? Must be from all this heat! Thank you all for the kind words, really a combination of black, brown, metallic washes as well as the silver dry brushes with rust spots here and there.

Ok here is my weak edit:.

Also a bonus:. Sideswipe! Silvered out his head, added a more vibrant blue for his eyes, gave him some updates and weathering here and there. Also restored the black red Corvette logo that was lost with the silver paint.

 

Is it still possible to preorder through the wishlist strategy or was that fixed?

 

Checked out a local collectors store and saw some neat stuff! They had several boxed 07 figures (final battle Jazz, Rescue Ratchet) but they had this that I’ve never seen before (even TFWiki doesn’t mention it):

Honestly, the likeness isn’t great and it’s way too narrow, but it is really cool to see! They had an Optimus as well that was much more accurate.

 

Went for a fun trip to the beach with the family pet today! Lots more pics to come.

Thanks for the pics, I ordered a SS-49 that's coming tomorrow so it's nice to see which heads work on him and how they look. I'm leaning more towards the Clunker Bee head right now buy as it is I'd take either head if I could get it without having to pay for a whole other figure. Hoping I can find a broken figure on eBay for cheap or trade something on the Junkion Exchange.
