I remember the main thing catching my attention about Beast Wars back in the day was the fact that OG Ravage had shown up.

maybe hot take but.... I wish it came with an alternate head that looked like the OG toy. the current head is great, it looks just like the show but it looks a little smooshed for the alt mode so an og toy head that could be swapped on would solve that.

I mean it's a huge first world problem and I'm still going to try and buy this.

Not sure if Soundwave is still alive by that point in the timeline, although there is the time travel shenanigans.

 

It would be arkward if Ravage see his future self.

 

Soundwave should be in stasis onboard the ark during the Beast Wars, but whatever storyline Kingdom is going for should ensue he should be in prehistoric earth as well.

 

BW never committed to either the Sunbow or Marvel US/UK timeline, but Ravage\'s appearance was all Marvel baby! Anytime I read Marvel G1 thanks to BW I have the perfect voice to hear in my head for this cool cat.

I\'ll try my best to get this. It\'s basically a essential for a fan like me, since Marvel US/UK plus the Beast Era shows (JP included + Car Robots) are my definitive Transformers stories.

 

What parts are you even thinking would come from Tigatron? The 90% that's new is all stuff based on Ravage's design. Tigatron's design is basically just Cheetor's except bigger, and since the Cheetor parts on Kingdom Ravage are the same size as the parts on Kingdom Cheetor, that would mean Kingdom Tigertron is the same size as Kingdom Cheetor if he also shares those parts, which would ultimately just make him Cheetor with a new head. The only part I could see being shared with Tigatron is the beast head, as the model for Ravage's head was actually based on Tigatron's beast head, but I'm going to guess that Kingdom Tigatron will have a completely different beast head that looks more like a real tiger.

 

Ravage’s packaging solicits him as Beast Wars, rather than Kingdom. I don’t think he’ll feature in the Kingdom story.

 

To be fair, Megatron wasn’t actually named Megatron, but assumed the name in homage; so this ‘Soundwave’ is by far more likely a coincidence than an actual Beast mode upgrade like Ravage is.

 

That package says "Inspired by Beast Wars", just like the Quintesson set saying "Inspired by The Transformers the Movie". It also still has the WFC branding on it, so it's definitely meant to be a part of the kingdom theme.

Doesn't necessarily mean he'll be in the show, I highly doubt it, but still.

 

I sincerely hope this will be an easy-to-get exclusive...

I still consider the storylines between the toy line and cartoon separate ( Since no has adopted Earth modes in Earthrise like in the toy line and it remains to be seen if Rodimus actually appears in the cartoon.)

 

I didn't read through this entire thread, but I guess the question is: does this mean at least some Transmetals are on the way? BW Ravage's CGI model used several parts from TM Cheetor (like the legs, which we now have). If Ravage is a remolded Cheetor, then it stands to reason they could remold Ravage into TM Cheetor pretty quickly.

 

I don’t know about quickly. Everything about the beast mode is off, as is the transformation. It could be done, but at what point is it actually easier just to start from scratch?
