I didn’t think Kingdom Mirage shipped until November. Is his fake chest visible in car mode as it is with Siege? I love the character but that was the dealbreaker for me with the earlier release.

Wish he was available without the BM repaint.

 

As mentioned in Kingdom Mirage's feedback thread, Unlike Siege Mirage having the "faux-hood" chest sticks out uglily at the backside in the vehicle mode, the various retooling that has been done with Kingdom Mirage allows the "faux-chest" to be hidden at the underside and less visible than its Siege predecessor; Which is for the better IMO.



Kingdom Mirage does have enough differences from Siege Mirage to worth buying, but wherever or not it's worth getting this 2-pack just for this figure, that's something only you can decide on your own.

 

Nice design change. Not as nice as it would be if he used the actual nose of the car for his chest, but it’s better.

As a Mirage I would definitely buy him singly, but IMO it’s not worth paying for the 2-pack. How’d you get your so early?

 

I browsed through some of my local online hobby stores a few days ago (I'm from Malaysia) and just happened to find a small number of this 2-pack in stock and available for purchase, for some bizarre reason. Considering how bad the distribution of the Earthrise exclusive 3-packs are, I figure might as well ordered one as soon as it was in-stock.

It's quite a surprise for me to even see this exclusive 2-pack this soon, actually.

The colors just work extremely well

 

Hot Rod again today, just a joy to transform and pose.

 

The ankles are the real MVP, especially the forward/backward tilt. It's so easy to set him up.

Also, Ironhide might want to get that eye looked at by someone, he seems to have a pretty nasty infection 

 

Here is the reason why I don't think this character will show up in the Netflix Kingdom show:
