    Flip the script, who here has a good copy that has been transformed with no problems, no cracks and the joints are good? There have to be good copies. Even my MP Hound still has no cracks, so yup, it is possible.

    Did you try to tighten the little screw in the side of the knee pad? I found all the screws were not very tight on mine and I was able to fix gaps like that by tightening the screw. Don’t over-do it of course. :)

    Issues aside, the only thing I feel lacking on MP-52 is better range of motion for some leg joints. More forwards/backwards ankle movement and unhindered thigh swivels would be appreciated. Waist swivel would’ve been cool. I don’t think the mold will be retooled to incorporate those but I’m okay with it as is.

    However, unlike MP-11, I really, really hope Takara repaints this mold in G1 toy colors. MP-03 at Walmart was kind of close but went more white instead of grey. TRU MP-11 had a darker blue in some areas but still largely cartoon based.

    I want straight up toy based with grey, the accurate wing and vertical stabilizer stripes, metallic gold eyes, et al

    ESPECIALLY A TOY BASED THUNDERCRACKER(and while MP-07 was close it wasn’t spot on).

    Mine came in. It has the tiniest crack on one tail fin connector. The rest is good including the feet.

    All three molds together. I have such a soft spot for the mp3 mold. Mp11... not so much.

    He’s good… the feet are a little loose, but he’s good. The way the wings all fold in and the ‘backpack’ are very clever indeed.

    Following these steps, I was able to transform back and forth in less than 20 minutes.


    Missed the knee caps tho.
