Tangential but that old warhawk like the A10 Thunderbolt can run circles with the latest F-22! No wonder the USAF and Navy(?) scrapped plans to ditched the F-15. It's like at version E or something. Cream and the rest of the knuckleheads will feel at home even in 2022 beyond.

Ooo no! Here comes the itch to scratch as in try completing the MP-11 Coneheads.......:cry

We need new coneheads with actual paint jobs and not the bulky mess the mp11 mold was. Their biggest flaw was they're based on an inadequate mold which I could see turning people off as well as just taking up too much space.

Come on MAN?! Soundwave?! With nary a sigh of Blaster yet?:(

Wheelie would make a good MP punching bag like Creamer...not that I dislike SW, cool nerd and all but Blaster really needs to grace the MP scene. Him and Jazz.

And I noticed the blue fonts too. :drunk

We’ve never had a MP triple changer before. Who would you choose first?

Yeah not to get off topic but now that they are getting Skids out of the way, they could go ahead and do Trailbreaker, Jazz, Mirage or even Cliffjumper next

So what are the rumours? I'm guessing Soundwave v2 is the biggest.

One of my knee pads likes to split when I move into place.

Buuuut, if we get Soundwaaaave, we might get Blaster wiiiiith iiiiiiit!!!

One could hope, right. Plus, last time FT announced "Acoustic Wave", HasTak announced Soundwave 1.0. Maybe lighting will strike twice....

Well, after owning this guy for a week and after several transformations I'm glad to report he's outstanding, easily Takara's finest work since the mighty Megatron. But first....

AE, I was seriously about to send these guys to the chopping block, expensive everything, slow shipping, hell I paid £36 for EMS only for my goods to arrive at my place in the same time frame it took for others who used SAL, haha, lesson learned. But like I said earlier as opposed to Parcel force it was delivered by Royal Mail with no customs so I guess I'll indulge in them.....for now.

As for this guy I'll start with the not so amazing, his transformation, it's very reminiscent of MP-33 in the sense that alt-mode to robot transformation is a breeze but the other way round not so much although more of a case here than with Inferno. It's mostly a smooth process with one or two scary moments and a couple of MP moments but what I like about it is that it's complex for the sake of necessity rather than being complex for the sake of it, MP-44 and 39 spring to mind.

The aesthetics......this thing is a beauty and literally a 3d version of what we saw on our screens when we were kids, showed it to my older brother and he didn't believed it transformed, he looks that good. He just captures the likeness it's unreal, but I gotta agree with BSF I think he should be a shade lighter for toon accuracy, the contrast between his face and his body is more noticeable in the toon than it is here but it isn't a dealbreaker, the guy looks so good. Another criticism I have is the think the cavities on both his 'pecs' should be a bit deeper they're a bit shallow when compared to most toon pics, but all in all he's so good that all the flaws seem like minor nitpicks.

As for articulation, with the exception of his lack of waist swivel he's up there with MP-44, he's so expressive it's unbelievable. Truth be told articulation has never been a top priority for me, in fact I was perfectly content with what the car bots were doing to up until MP-28 and two of my favourite figures are MP-22 and FT Phoenix so that should tell my you how much waist articulation means to me.

All in all, this is a phenomenal figure and has only made the wait for my favourite of the bunch, Skywarp even harder. And there I was thinking I had the remaining seekers, Rody, Jazz and Galvy to collect but with this guy being that good it looks like I might have to add the inevitable coneheads to the list. Fuuuuuuuuuuuck!

EDIT: Knee caps haven't been transformed properly!

Man, Soundwave needs an update, pronto!!!

So KO version when? What's the typical time frame for this sort of thing?

Rememba the days when just prior to the official release there'd by like the so called "QC Rejects" that sell for a sum at auctions? Ebay iirc. I wonder why there aren't anymore like those these days?

I remember there were some for MP-45 on Showz and other places when he came out, but that's the most recent one I believe.

Most likely an answer you’d get in the KO thread.

I may be in the minority but I'd be completely content if they never did another MP soundwave. 13 holds up with the best of them.
