Correct, Shadow Panther is a Cheetor repaint with a new head and that's it, plus he's an entirely different character from Ravage

 

do you guys realize that ravage never transform in the beast wars show in a panther he transform into a tape so the transmetal is not accurrate either

 

i never thought they could use that garbage cheetor mold and make it look good. i like cheetors cheetah mode but in robot mode it sucks. there are huge disproportion issues with the hips and the torso plus the tail scyth sucks and the lack of paint. i saw a custom painted cheetor which looked quite good.

 

Well that's why he comes with G1 Ravage to represent the cassette mode. The panther mode is just because action masters are boring yo.


But honestly I will always long for a day when TF engineering has advanced enough for a BW Ravage w/ cassette mode to be possible.

Was Unique Toys ever into Beast Wars though? As far as I know, only TransArt, Jiang Xing (whatever happened to them?) and Perfet Effect were into the Beast Wars game.

Yeah, but despite that, Hasbro's been revealing their PulseCon exclusives for other lines (Marvel Legends, Star Wars: The Black Series, etc.) over the past couple of weeks. Would not surprise me if the Transformers one(s) were next up.
