    A short while ago a couple of us were saying how we hoped Shadowpanther would have panther proportions, rather than just being a Cheetor repaint.

    Well, looking at this guy's alt mode, he isn't far off. The legs need to be thicker for a leopard/jaguar type cat, but his torso looks more bulked up.

    People have been begging for me to have that super power since I came up with the idea for a combiner team that are made up of mythical creatures like dragons for their alt modes and their robot modes at the Knights of Cybertron.

    The more I see of this, the more I want it. The fur is a bit odd, made even more odd by the lack of it towards the beast mode's rear. If they were going to make Ravage organic, I wish they'd have only made the front of his upper legs metallic, in order to maintain his beast mode. I get that the G1 Ravage is meant to represent his alternate form, but completely disregarding the main figure's beast form makes the fur harder to justify. Still, he does a good enough job of looking the way he did in the show. I just hope I can find the set for a reasonable price.

    For what it's worth, I'd love to see a UT-esque inside-out transformation for Ravage to give him his tape alt-mode.

    something about the way the light hits him makes him look like a 3P product. the joints, texture and detailing just remind me of... most 3rd party things i've bought/seen. mostly transform element's stuff.
