Keep in mind that Core Class Bumblebee isn't meant to scale with the Deluxe+ figures. There will probably be a Deluxe class Bumper eventually.

 

Still, how would we make Bumper look different from Bumblebee outside just a new head? They are rather similar & not only that, he's just "That other yellow minibot that isn't our movie star of a mascot."

 

I got no regrets buying all my Lambos spoilers. Ill buy them for my Earthrise molds too if made available. Some of us arent just toy guys, were also car guys.

I had noted but not counted and listed them, though as I have mentioned before it looks like there may be more mass to wolfshead (& chestplate) in comparison to Grotusque's head, as well as the quite substantial new tooling. Definitely more than I expected, I really thought they'd just retool the top half of the Grotusque beast head, and do some new claws. He looks great with the extra pizazz though!
Titan Master is the same TM body buck and faceplate as the TR Titan Master w/Mini-beast release BUT that also means that this Titan Master is a different body buck to the TR Monsterbots' who all have reheaded-&-refaceplated versions of the Titan Master "Battle Beast" homage body.
I couldn't tell you if that would be a tooling investment as well for sure but most of the prior TR figures that shared bodytypes/engineering had the same Titan Master with just a new faceplate, though as Sentinel Prime, Astrotrain, Alpha Trion (plus Leo Convoy), and Broadside all shared the "Infinitus"-type TM body it could be that the Titan Masters were their own separate moulds rather than being tied to their set bodies? Still seems another "Extra" to count as you have listed it because of that to me.

Yep, the only shared components with the Grotusque design seem to be the forearms, and robot fists - the rest is new tooling. Might even be more mass in the upper arms the way the shoulder armour sits so high but also covers near half the bicep?

It is but, as I say, as TR retools/reuses/Partials/shared engineering figures go, that's rather unusual/a bit extra.

 

Admittedly too hard to tell for sure without better pics but it looks like the same figure with different colors. Faceplate appears unaltered.

 

Huh... Surprised they didn't do a homage to the universe repaint of Primal that doubles as shattered glass.

 

Hopefully they are a slightly different shade of yellow. But Im really hoping for a 3rd party Bumper head to slap on that new Bee. A new gun included would be the icing on the cake. I see them as brothers so different heads are sufficient.

 

If that's the US price then they can keep it!

To be spiteful the next Buzzworthy set will probably include 3 more Bumblebees and a Voyager class Tarn (new mold).

 

For me, it's very bad you need to buy four repaints to get Fangry

His legs look G1-accurate already. His shoulders though, not so much. Good that he has a faceplate too.

 

That makes more sense but I'm still hoping that I can't shave off another $50 by selling Bee and the Monkey. But it doesn't sound like too many people are happy with this CJ repaint.

 

I think it's unlikely that we get a solo release of Fangry any time soon. Hasbro put him in this pack to sell it to collectors. A solo release would undermine that.

 

I'm kinda enjoying the new BA more than the kingdom one... but I always did like her toy model and art.

 

Well that Bay-verse sh!t is what bastardized the little G1 scout in the first place. Sure his oversaturation makes them money but all the Autobots they have him stealing mojo from is giving G1 fans and collectors a headache...

This Bumblebee can't take on a gang of Seekers, or kill Soundwave. He couldn't even beat Ravage w/o Skyfires help. Which is how it should be.

So on 2nd thought I think I'll skip this set unless I eventually spot it at Ross or Ollie's.

 

No interest in the Netflix Volkswagen Bumblebee?
