You could always pop off the backpack/legs. Him having an actual beast mode to begin with is of questionable canonicity to begin with given that every new arrival from Cybertron on the show scanned for a mode, and he didn't. It would also make him a triple changer, which he wasn't ever previously. Ravage's alt mode was probably really just the tape form and the jaguar characteristics in his robot mode just an aesthetic choice.

Still that said I really do like that his panther alt mode can have his double guns mounted on his hips. That just works.

It's also funny at some level that the show's CG model was a modified version of Transmetals Cheetor, and now we're gettin the most accurate BW Ravage toy ever as a modified version of Kingdom Season 1 cheetor, who doesn't look anything like his Transmetal form. But that said Hasbro should just do Transmetal Cheetor, Rattrap and Tarantulas, becuase their S2 designs were better than their Season 1 designs.

 

...okay, it will never happen, but am I the only one that wants them to now do Laserbeak? Yes, never appeared in Beast Wars, blah blah blah... but imagine him with the Airrazor mode...

I never understood the point of Shadow Panther. Transformers is naturally a redeco heavy franchise (and it's usually better for that). But Shadow Panther was always just "not Ravage".

 

Here's BWM-04 Black Agent with Kingdom Cheetor


Black Agent is neat and high quality but fussy. I'm looking forward to this new official version very much, particularly with the included tape mode Ravage! And chrome weapons!

 

The idea of Airrazor in the colors Botcon gave to Laserbeak sounds pretty cool to me! I'd buy that!

 

Honestly when we first saw in-pack photos of this figure I didn't think he'd transform at all, so the fact that he can change form is pretty frikkin' sweet.

 

OOO, definitely want this. Shame they didn't reuse the Universe Ravage or MP Ravage mold for the cassette figure. Hope the production run is high enough he won't be too difficult to get.

 

Part of me really wants a Shattered Glass version of this figure.

 

That would be great, hit two birds with one stone since Transmetal Tigatron and Shattered Glass Ravage are the same colours.

 

TBH I was planning on skipping this one, cause I thought this would be a repaint of Cheetor, but now I see that many parts of it are retooled to be seperate from Cheetor, while keeping it\'s original design

Just more and more I think it would be an awesome thing to do. And it wouldn't require many changes. Just a new beast head (more condor-like), a new robot head that looks like his original bird head, and a new black/silver/red paint scheme. Boom.

 

Guess he follows the Takara toy's traditions, with the beast mode head and robot mode head being the same. Quite the major retool, yet still has a mostly organic furry body, so I am now not so sure this will be used to make Transmetal Cheetor too.
