It's Leinad, or basically Daniel in the Exo-Suit headmaster from Rebirth. Definitely bears a resemblance to Scrounge though.
yeah, it's a replica of TR Arcee's Titanmaster, so it's supposed to look like the exo-suit both Daniel and Spike used to wear. But Scrounge is a good idea from it! I could modify that face to include some Scrounge-like eyes.
Spent some rework and came up with a replacement null ray for the Earthrise Seekers (minus the gaps on the one side of the original ones.) And then I modified the G1 null ray to fit in a reissue starscream launcher. So instead of this: I can display this (unpainted right now) This way it fits in with my other non-reissue G1 seekers.
Not a proper update, but something I found today that I think some of you may be very interested in and I wanted to share before I forgot. 3D Models by aleksandrmurasov303a | CGTrader This gentleperson is making a lot of g1 inspired, transformable, fully printable figures. Including Bruticus: Transformers Bruticus 3D print model | CGTrader And Predaking: 3D printable model Transformers Predaking | CGTrader Both split into their respective components, who are then posable and can transform into their alternate modes. The blocky style is unlikely to be to everyone's taste, but they're exceedingly impressive nonetheless! So, I highly recommend y'all give them a look!
Their mocromasters and optimus look great Their starscream reminds me of the cyberverse seekers. It also looks like they are using rusticon's cyberbase system as the backdrop for some of their photos.
I use Sketchup, myself. It's slow, but doesn't have an overwhelming amount of add-ons and extensions and shortcuts like Blender does. Blender is free, but like i said, there's kind of a high learning curve. Well, it's high for me, at least. I found it too complicated for its own good and got frustrated rather quickly. Sketchup, you can just basically point and click where you want lines to go and draw with it immediately. Simple tutorials on youtube help a lot too.
I believe you can get a Hobbyist's license for Fusion360 for free, that's the program I use. if you have a student ID you can also get an Education License for free. There are also lots of tutorials online for it, if that helps.
Fusion 360 is free as long as it's only for personal use (although I don't know how they would know if you weren't).
I've just completed my latest project, a drill upgrade system for CW/UW & CBB Devastator. It can be used with combined mode and with individual bot modes and alt modes. This has been in the works for a long time and I'm very excited to finally share it! I really wanna' try printing Predaking, but I'm nervous. I don't want to sink $40 into something that might not work, because of CGTrader's reputation.
I 3D Printed A G2 Gun from thingiverse (Scaled it down, just search G2 Megatron Gun!) for core megatron! Of corse the gun got a little melty at the end of the print due to the slicer settings, so i'll be reprinting it. That looks absoutely fantastic! Do you think i could comission a buck or two to modify the override head for cw deluxe figures? I"ve got an override i'm working on myself. Also you probably saved over it, but if you still have the V1 of nautica's head i kinda like how that looks alot!
Which mold did you need the Override head for? That way I know how big to make the ball socket. Also, yeah, I saved over the old version of Nautica's head but it was basically just stretching the...crest..thing a little wider than what it was, so it wouldn't be hard to change it back.
Specifically, Cw wheeljack. Thanks for the response, I've been getting dragged on by work and don't have time to do extensive custom work anymore so everything I can outsource helps!
