Walmart had a much better showing with a K megs and Prime and then SS Jetfire, DOTM Megs, and 86 Grimlock. Some miscellaneous deluxes and RED figures as well. Spotted a Castle Greyskull too (is that something people are looking for?)

 

Dumfries and Stafford Targets are virtually barren.

Nah, there’s most definitely a bunch of silent lurkers that check these boards but don’t report sightings. This area is also crawling with scalpers and resellers aka scum

I check 3 targets and called 3 in North Carolina while on vacation. Out of the 6 stores that were the closest to me. Only 2 stores received 1 case of studio series leaders. I am assuming this is an early release shipment because on target website they are preorder for the release date of August 1st. They will become plentiful closer to that day. With that being said, I ask the stores that didn’t have the product. when is there shipment coming? They said 8/15

 

That makes a lot of sense. I would suspect we won't see restocks for a while.

 

Manassas and Gainesville Targets are still wastelands of despair. Dulles and Merrifield Target numbers dropped since Thursday so they magically found the ones they had; not going to go check on a whim. At this point I will just wait for BBTS to get there's unless I am in a Target for something else and they just happen to have some.

 

I don’t doubt it. I have friends that are part of a group on Facebook for toy sightings in their area. The whole point of the group was to help each other out and not scalpers. Lo and behold, a toy shop popped up in their area and became known for shelf clearing and it turned out 1 of the admins of that Facebook group owned said shop.

My friends have had better luck just texting each other sightings rather than posting in that group, let alone a public forum.

 

Listen, my new home (lol, I’ve been here since Feb 2019) of NYC isn’t much better! Though I feel not only the scalping has become worse; the overinflated prices on the aftermarket have become insane during and post-COVID-19. There’s a few videos on YouTube I’ve seen of butthurt scalpers and resellers whining about how they’re getting a bad rap. As far as I’m concerned, I’m still searching for a special mug to house all their tears, and drink them up “There Will Be Blood” style lmao

 

Took a quick stop by tidewater walmart. Alot of wave 1 kingdom along with a boat load of ractinite and arcees. 1 each infernal,dinobot and cyclonus. They also had 1 primal netflex and alot of the current wave deluxes. Sadface i wanted that sparkless seeker too.
