That’s right, it was Metroplex. Ironically, although I’m disappointed in various aspects of the line including scale I do like the idea of Titans.

Where is Starscream at? It shows Bumblebee available at Walmart but not Starscream.

speaking of those two I got an email from walmart.com that my preorder date has changed and now it is 12:00:00

yeah, they gave a time of day as my new 'date' for release

took some looking to figure out they were referring to the R.E.D. Starscream and Bumblebee figures that should be here by Monday

but what kind of shoddy programming is going on there?

Both Bumblebee and Starscream are currently out of stock. I never even saw Starscream available for pre-order. I've looked around town at a few different Walmarts and haven't seen either figure. So do you know when Starscream is supposed to be available?

Me too, the explanation was something to do with the manufacturer (Hasbro)... They are supposed to be sent on July!

Yeah, I just posted this in the Walmart.com thread, but I got an email yesterday that said my RED Bumblebee was delayed...to the same day it was supposed to ship?

Wave 3 in hand, kinda disappointed. I've grown to love wave 1 and wave 2 was a definite step up but these just feel kinda clunky.

There are things I'll give them credit for (nice idea to make Starscream's coronation attire option parts) but these just lack the personality wave 1 had. Those first 3 I feel are ultimately solid attempts at the Sunbow G1 designs, helped by the hands being so expressive. These don't have that charm and carry odd choices. Why does Bee have Siege style weathering when no other figure in the line does? Why make Starscream's cape out of easily damaged fabric when it could have been a stronger and posed sculpted piece?

Something else is 3 waves in I really wished these were designed with a connector for display bases like Generations are. Due to their weight there's only so many free standing poses you can pull off.

I found them and bought them today... Cancelled my delayed pre-order...
I was very surprised about how big bumblebee is... Really too big. I got the figures but I will decide in a week if I keep them or return them... Also Starscream is kind of too dark instead of his lighter metal color...

I will give a close look this weekend to those figures before I decide to bring it back to Walmart...

By the way. I think Super 7 is also doing a coronation Starscream or is Hasbro with Studio Series 86?
Bumblebee is the biggest disappointment For been so freaking big...

The idea of the RED line is cool but they need to go back to the drawing board and give these figures better articulation. Shoulders should have butterfly joints. The extras are cool but I'd take one less hand in exchange for a second head.

I finally started seeing these stocked a lot more at my local Wal-Mart and seeing them in person, a good chunk of them had visible issues such as paint bleeding, scratches, and warping. I only ended up picking up Arcee after finding one that looked okay and the figure was a huge disappointment to me for the $20 cost. This may be because I got a copy that can barely stand and the accessories pop out after I posed them for about an hour to take photos.

I like the idea of these as standalone figures, I really don't see an issue with them other than the quality just being subpar by what I've seen personally. I ended up getting the Coronation Starscream today and so far it actually looks okay! I wasn't expecting the absolute best but I think it's a neat little figure.

I saw Wave 1 again and Megatron looked the best out of all of them but I decided to just give away my Arcee and probably just keep SS as a distraction to fiddle with and pose. Unless they come out with another character that I really like, I think SS will be the last one I get for now.

Anyway, hope everyone else has been enjoying their RED figures!

I'm in the same boat. In fact, I've barely seen R.E.D at all, aside from sporadic releases of Megatron, Cheetor, and Arcee.

    Ha! Great pic. @Dendrobium

Recently got Cheetor for my son's Cheetor collection. Nice sculpt and colors but articulations are not gonna last on this figure. It needs better materials and tolerance with the articulations.

My thoughts exactly. Feels good, but I suspect it’ll go floppy all too soon.
