The person here who leak the contents of the Buzzworthy boxset explicitly said it was the Universe/SG deco for Primal, a few hours before the set was actually revealed. Another leaker said that Nightprowler was being put instead of Maximal Skywarp. These were made by actual leakers, no one here was speculating these before hand.

 

And they've also leaked other stuff that later changed. Similar to the leak about Gears/Polar Claw which clearly came from seeing that artwork that was part of the pitch but not the final plan.

Which means their sources are likely earlier in the process and thus subject to change.

Those same leakers had Rexy from Jurassic Park and several others that were bang on.

That's the problem with leaks these days. People take it as gosplel and then get mad when the info isn't 100% correct. Or worse, act like Hasbro is screwing them out of the thing that was never actually promised.

 

and they were proven wrong. Moral of the story: stop putting leakers in the highest regard.

The World’s collide boxset was known about for months.

Whoever actually knew about what the contents were should’ve known exactly what we were getting, especially if it was being revealed hours after the leak was brought up again with details.

If they knew Primal wasn’t going to be a certain deco then don’t bring it up. A lot of us thought we were getting the Universe deco because the leak brought it up as a retcon for Nemesis Primal. Had they just said it was Nemesis colors this wouldn’t be a discussion.

Have fun with the leaks and speculate away, but until actual confirmation happens never think it's a sure thing.

 

Weird how Ravage is getting made before we get Terrorsaur and Inferno. Although I guess Cheetors mold was quite ready.

well the he doesn’t transform(if he actually transforms I’m sure he does) the same with the infamous tab so I think we don’t. Need to worry

The picture on the back of the box seems to suggest that the Predacon Ravage does convert to cassette or a similar thing, although with that bulked up humanoid form, I wonder how. If it were just a minor retool of Rumble with a cat head , it would be obvious but they look like they’ve gone all out to make him Beast Wars accurate. I can imagine ways they might achieve it, but I think that will result I a chunky cassette. Not necessarily a bad thing as logically he’d probably be a cybertronian storage device in this iteration, rather than an eighties style cassette, even if they did homage that in the series. I’m okay with that. It was just one quick gag and he mostly remained in his humanoid cat mode, after all.*

It might have been a nice touch to make the G1 figure Soundwave compatible (although I think this guy will be too big) but I think it would be too restrictive in the predacon version’s case.

*That scene is amusing as he does it for no apparent reason, aside from perhaps suggesting to the G1 fan viewers that this is indeed the same cat. I think the idea was that he could control the craft more directly that way. I think this show was before WiFi/Bluetooth after all, although remote control stuff was alive and kicking.

 

This set looks really cool. Atm I reallt want him and I can get him without much hassle, but I suspect he's gonna sell out fast!

On the topic of leakers: I really hate that they shut down the Leak thread  . Now I have to keep track of multiple random threads to see where leakers pop up.

 

You mentioned earlier on that hasbro has future plans for the character/mould. Does that mean he might be released on his one in legacy? And mould meaning repaints?
