The ebay store Pop-King has been auctioning signed items from former Marvel Productions alumni Brian Ray. Who was a storyboard artist on season 1, before moving to the position of Overseas Animation Supervisor on many of Marvel's shows until the end of their 1988 commitments. At which point, he moved on to Disney for Talespin. Previous auctions from his collection have included a full storyboard set for the GI Joe episode Cobra's Creatures. Main cast model sheets for Dungeons & Dragons, plus several model sheets from season 5 of Muppet Babies. The first TF items to be put up are both rough and final storyboards, showing a deleted scene from More Than Meets The Eye, part 1. I believe this is not the actual production storyboard, but rather his test for being hired for season 1. A similar test sequence done by Marvel artist Elaine Hultgren - using Blaster Blues for the story - is up at the archive: Sunbow and Marvel Productions Script/Storyboard Archive: MP 700 The Transformers, Part 1 1984 - 1985 (Sunbow Productions/Marvel Productions) It shows events from page 20 and 21 of the script. interesting, "Sound Wave" is Prime's torso and arms combined with Soundwave's head and legs. seems like they were confused as to what each robot looked like.
