I actually had the same thought. Comparing mostly to IF and Hastak Blitzwings. But while I appreciate the cannons under the wings for MFT's Blitzwing, the tank seems like the best alt mode.

 

Yeah at least this one actually looks like an mig-25 from above whereas mft looks like a chopped starfighter (the jet I mean)

I was about to say the same thing. I really love that tank mode but the other modes notsomuch. I don't really care about the jet mode but he just looks sloppy in bot mode. Especially the way the tracks sit at the shoulders.

 

I don't know, I like his general proportions. Nice thick chunky legs (yeah I know, they're a bit hollow), more slim upper torso than MFT. Backpack is kinda big but MFT's isn't so small either. I miss the wings on the shoulders.

The tank mode is miiiiiles better than MFT, and the jet mode has lots gundam stuff going under the wings, but at least the cone, canopy, and top chassis have organic curves that suggest aerodynamics that let me forgive the rest.

I want him.

A couple of things that will be much more glaring when we see it in color: His rear jet landing gear is on his hands, and his feet and rear stabilizers are folded up onto the back of the tank (tho yay! He ACTUALLY has rear stabilizers! The one thing that's a bit annoying about the Mechanic Studios version).

So over all, I think the Mechanic Studios version is cleaner.

Yikes. Those joints above the shoulders really become pronounced when it’s colored. I think I’ll pass on this one.

 

I got a feeling is the same designer who design the Springer 1.0. Thats a no for me.

 

Mmm I think the treads have to be sand coloured, since the treads top half has armour, like a modern tank, and it’d be weird to have it all grey. I love this guys’s beefy legs. No news on how this one would actually retail yet? So odd.
