I really like Terraegis but for the feet, which are really floppy on mine.

 

That looks great, especially considering there is an alternate head and swappable parts for more of a toy deco. I might be tempted— even at that steep price— if the white parts were instead silver. The sleeker proportions are nice, but I’m not enamored with the toon aesthetic anyway, and MP-13 still looks damned good.

 

Where are the preorders for him?

 

My copy of MMC Artifex was terrible - various joints really floppy, brittle plastic. A shame, as still he's the best looking of the Hoists I've seen (MMC, XTB, Badcube, FT), but I had to get rid of him.

 

I think there was an issue somewhere down the line when Hoist was manufactured, mine was horrible as well. But, I also got the Terraegis Rally and it doesn't have any of the issues that Hoist had and is a solid figure with good plastic. I've transformed it several times with no hint of stress or breakage. Granted, the legs are still a pain in the ass but that's a design issue rather than a manufacturing one, just like the big ass pin holding the feet on, bad choice.

 

Bombusbee sent out an email stating that the final price will be $150 plus shipping.

 

Surprising news! So maybe TCP will honor that price for the ones that PO'd?

 

Luckily for me, I pose him with the weight of the figure on the feet, so their floppiness isn't that major of an issue in my case.

I do get that it is annoying when you pick him up though.

They'll ask you to top up. No different from people who put in the 2.97 deposit.

 

Is that so? Explain the conspicuous silence about the "fifth combiner team members" then. Why did they basically stop releasing Stunticons and Aerialbots? (Especially the Aerialbots... they stopped with the legs. Almlst as if they needed to REDESIGN the arms.) No physical prototypes of any combiner has been shown thus far. Why would all of these things be the case if everything was copacetic?

Let's not forget that FTs only other really large figure had/has issues with stability. (Unlike DX9... I never at any point doubted that their menasor would be stable, based on gabriel)

Joking aside, TFSource is the only retailer in this den of thieves who will be honoring the old PO price. The rest will call you friend, family or dojo member, but in the end, it's top up or shut up!!

Is the old PO price $99? I have a hard time believing they won't bump it up. I had this great PO price on ToyWorld TW-F09 for the longest time. Then they used the excuse that it would change to the Deluxe version and the price really went up.

 

Someone here said earlier that TFSource told him that they would be honoring the PO price.

 

The pre-order price I have at TFSource is $149.99 in my stack. That's been in there for a year or more.
