Plastic isn't a big deal to me so long as there's little chance of the toy being damaged as a result. Frankly, super high quality plastic almost feels weird to me.

 

Argh I had this in a pile of loot and finally got around to checking it out, one of the hands on my copy just will not rotate out of the arm. Anyone else have that problem? I tried unscrewing and splitting the arm a bit to give it more room but the hand still wont rotate.

 

It sounds like a fit issue. Check for flash first then try to isolate the point at which the two halves of the hand bind up around the wrist post.

 

Thanks I finally got it rotated out, I just got frustrated and took some pliers, in doing so some of the fingers popped off. I guess the fingers came jammed in there out of the box and must have been stuck at the top part of the hand. I do quite like this guy aside from that issue

 

Hello everyone! This is my first post. I have a silly question : anybody know if Doubledeck box has been released by the manufacturer wrapped in a plastic baggie like others KFC models?

Was there some missed announcement of a reissue that I missed? BBTS and TCP both have preorders. If the quality is buffed compared to the first one (IIRC the SG Transistor was better than all the previous ones) I'm marginally tempted to either get a new set of him that'll last better or see if they're doing replacement parts for the old one at least. I honestly love the mold a lot.

 

Yesterday, I got my Doubledeck from Show-Z.
He "feels" a bit cheap, but I suppose, this is because of the age of this mold.
However, he is a nice to addition to my headmaster/japanese-shelves.

Do you all know what the deal is with the heart deco on the shoulders of Mandy? I just got the set from Show-Z, and she doesn't have them. It seems like some releases have it and some don't?
