I asked him a while ago if he was doing a Godzilla Jumbo and he said “Not for a while or anytime soon.” I can’t remember”... but “wouldn’t you rather have someone for him to fight?”

I am hoping it’s King Kong. Would make a good Jumbo.

I don’t think dinosaucers is off the table. The secondary market for the glasslite figures is insane right now. 300-500 a figure depending on if accessories are involved. Even the knock off lines sell crazy well.

I have zero interest in ReAction Joes if that's what they make.
Even producing such a line is baffling to me as they'd be competing with the Retro line.

Reaction wasn't what was said for the mystery reveal though. I'm thinking these Joes will be Ultimates. Also pretty sure this is the mystery reveal that will "blow out socks off" or whatever.

Maybe they'll do some reactions of them too. Don't know/don't care personally.

They're doing ReAction, Ultimates, and Cyborg Joes, so all three lines so far at least. I think we'll see all of them revealed at once that day.

Pivoting back to thinking this might be Centurions. It’s a license that’s known to be hard to acquire but would fit right in with the other 80’s licenses S7 has and I know they’d do a great job matching the cartoon look.

I agree that on paper, Centurions makes a lot of sense.
The property checks a lot of boxes as regards popularity, nostalgia, underrepresentation, etc.
Being primarily figure based, the line is well within the company's abilities while the accessories and connection system give them a chance to stretch their creative wings.

The problem is (apparently) Gil Kane's estate, though.

Which given that, would lend itself to the hype S7 has been making for their mystery license

There was this that popped up on Ramen Toys IG. Silverhawks throws it off. Then again we’re kind of getting to the point where it will be these guys outright buying the properties that fell through the cracks. S7 licenses Silverhawks from Silverhawks LLC. SH LLC is owned by Brian Flynn. Supposedly he bought the Inhumanoids trademark but knowing how accurate he does remakes, he’s probably got access to the designs if not more. Nacelle Corp bought Robo Force from Toyfinity. Toyfinity still has Zeroids, Manglors, Star Team and Mordles from Rocks & Bugs & Things. Zica had maybe just a license for Sectaurs from the owner which I think is the creator but got priced out. 4 Horsemen had the license from the owner of Power Lords but fucked that completely up.

The only reason I question it being Centurions is that it doesn’t seem like a license popular or well known enough to be mind-blowing. I mean, I think they’re cool and I had a couple as a kid but its always been one of those names that would draw a blank stare from my friends when talking about old toys. Even Silverhawks seem more fondly and readily remembered and I don’t consider that line to be mind-blowing either.

That said, Centurions is definitely a perfect fit for Super7.

As for Inhumanoids, a look at the TM ownership on the USPTO website shows that it is/was owned by Brian but was abandoned 12/31/2018, so it’s currently a dead Trademark.

Wait, is this some kind of confirmation that Super 7 is teaming with Ramen toys?

I think it would be mind blowing given how hard the license is to get. It’s up there with a company somehow being able to make a Batman 1989 Joker figure with Jack Nicholson signing off or Robocop with Peter Weller signing off on their likenesses.

True in that sense. I suppose there are different ways to interpret mind-blowing.

Out of curiosity, and since I was already there, I looked up Sectaurs which is still an active TM and owned by Tim Clarke, the creator.

Didn't we just have a (failed) run of Sectaurs figures?

No idea, was it a Kickstarter thing? I liked them as a kid but I’ve never felt enough nostalgia to pay attention to them as an adult. I wasn’t suggesting them as a possibility for S7, just commenting on the ownership because Slender102 mentioned above me that it was possibly owned by the creator and I found it interesting.

The D&D cartoon is the only thing that would "blow my mind." It's never been done, it's right up their alley, and the limited cast would make it likely we'd get all the characters rather than be abandoned halfway. I'd be all in on Ultimates versions of those. I'm not into the ReAction stuff.
