At this point I’m just trying to nab a few select characters and get out of the game.

 

My point still stands: a waist swivel of even 90 degrees seems unnatural. A _properly posed_ figure would only use about as much waist rotation as this figure actually has.

 

I honestly like both the official (still have mine and it's awesome) and this, as it currently seems equal. Equal isn't really the best word, but there is enough cool stuff on both styles of figures that I really do like both, so I'm not even sure I will sell my mp version. I will have to wait till I have both in hand see if I really don't want the mp anymore. The MP head looks more mean and ready to go, plus has so much more detailing overall. I even think the alt mode is much better on the mp so far.

 

People love waist swivels, dude. I don’t know why, but they do. And even more so, I don’t know why they ask for those details about figures that haven’t even been fully revealed yet like in the DDS Starscream thread.

But I also know that almost every figure I have can turn its hands a full 360 degrees on its wrists; something I definitively cannot do.

I prefer the official MP Soundwave because of the details and accents and don't feel the urge of replacing him. Still unsure about the FT cassettes though. Laserbeak looks like a minor upgrade, Frumble has a better headsculpt but the ellwbows and feet look really bad, Ravage imo looks way better than the official one.

 

TFS-E died at 4PM, but obviously it can't be Soundwave as he's not a popular character...

You’d assume that they would release an easy-to-buy two-pack for the others, but who knows.

Long story short, some lady went on a rant about Asian and gay people, and @octobotimus helped change the topic by talking to me about these two great Russian guys I met in a bar who got shit-faced with me and told us about how American movies have given Westerners a false impression of what Russian people are like.

Yeah, unless you picked up the original releases of MP Soundwave that included most of the tapes, they are incredibly difficult to get. I can't remember if the last re-issue of MP SW only had Laserbeak or included the other tapes.

I've ordered a set of the tapes to pair up with RP-01, but Rumble, Frenzy, and Ravage will be the MMC versions on my display. Which means I probably won't even open the RP tapes, seeing that it's only Laserbeak... now that I've worked things through, not having Buzzsaw and Ratbat as part of the set sucks for me.

I assume there eventually will be a RP-01C set that will include those two...
