The parts that you design look like they are meant for injection molding. Is this just for training or are you going for plastic injection for these?

 

I'm just practicing haha, but it wouldnt kill to model these in a way where it wouldnt be hard to make injection molds out of.

man that profile view of the arm really shows just how much engineering has been put into these. And I believe you said you were kind of just winging it, modelling as you went. Thats some seriously impressive work.
Like I said before it has been fun to watch these updates and see how this has all come together.

I know you don't have plans for the battlestar set, but will Nova be available in some form?

Designed the guns that you can build a turret out of, as well as combine into the larger blaster

 

How big is this thing gonna be? Leader class? Or maybe 2005 leader class?

 

I honestly have no idea, I think it'll be 2005 Leader class size but that's underestimating the sheer WIDTH of this WIDE BOI

EDIT: here is just his foot alone. It's about as big as Red Alert

I love coming back to see the updates on this. That Nova Prime looks stellar... am I mistaken in thinking there's some Energon Rodimus inspiration in there?

 

That would make sense, as the basic Nova Prime look was designed based off of Rodimus from the start I believe.

 

  Off by 2mm and suddenly the entire Grandus project has to be reworked from ground up

 

Well uhhhh now that I'm in the final stages of making Grandus, it's time to move onto another project that I put off for a while. I tend to cycle between projects back and forth.
