I do love this deco on Netflix Mirage. It even says so at the back, next to the Glenfiddich XX. As far as I'm concerned this is a different character. The add on bits help too, aside from the fact that they're pretty wank. Pretty. But wank.

Something about his colors makes him feel like a premium release, other than those dirt smudges.

Unfortunately, the plastic quality and QC is a step backward on this release though. The small rotor is noticeably softer than the original. The playability and deco are the only few things that improved upon the original.

Oh dear, I don't like the sound of that.
Hopefully he can at least handle multiple transformations and daily play because even Blackout suffers from some stress marks.

My copy is not as bad as some other reviewers said, but it does seem to suffer loose joints. That makes his transformation to helicopter easier, but harder to keep it together in robot mode. I suggest practice on SS Blackout before SS Grindor.

The figure is safe to play and transform, but it is not the quality from 2018’s SS Blackout. My Grindor already has stressed mark on one of the pinned joint at the arm panel before transforming it, but it don’t seem to get worse.

I returned the one I got because the joints were so awful.
Blackout may not have articulated hands, but he can at least stand and hold together.

Are they using a different type of plastic or is it because of the different colors that makes it cheaper in quality?

Stress marks are worrying but if it doesn't spread onto the rest of the joints and hinges then I will tolerate it.

The plastic Hasbro used to make Grindor is definitely different from Blackout. When you have both figures in helicopter mode, Blackout’s plastic feel more solid while Grindor’s is relatively softer in comparison. Blackout’s plastic also have shinier and smoother surface.

Stress mark doesn’t seem to spread so far, so I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Keep the receipts though.

Big boy Armada Super Base Optimus Prime. I’m so glad he hasn’t fallen to pieces. Shame he doesn’t have much articulation in super mode. He is a lot of fun though
