Decided to mess with the accessories a bit tonight... and THE STAND FOR THIS FIGURE EFFING SUCKS!

It was too loose to hold the jet mode up. Tried to tighten a screw & ended up stripping it. Use super glue to repair & was able to tighten one joint.

Then tried using the stand for bot mode. WTF? The way it's designed, there's no good way to use it for bot mode. And even when you do get him on there, the joint again is too weak to hold bot mode aloft.

Damn, that's a lot of plastic for something poorly designed that barely works.

    Bummer.

I have mentioned/warned about it earlier in this thread regarding the stand.

Use/apply Future polishon the swivel-joints of the stand instead of overtightening the screws.

    Oh, well. Clobberin' time...

That's exactly what I planned....MP52 made the decision difficult.

when current WFC figures getting so good and fit exactly what I want for semi mini MP style and also Diaclone GRIDMAN released.. MPs are pretty truly but man the price to value ratio dropped way too fast.

Just had to take a pic of what I consider the three best mps to date together!
    upload_2021-7-6_23-27-7.jpeg
    Oh wait…that’s not right…

Anyway, I forget who was asking before, but here’s a direct comparison of the two Starscream heads—I hadn’t seen one with them this close together before so I thought I’d post the comparison:
    upload_2021-7-6_23-27-43.jpeg
The head that comes with Prime is a shade or two darker (helmet and face), just a millimeter or two smaller in every dimension, and a little more squarish as well. Never realized how thin the Prime Screamer head’s nose was until now…yeesh. I do like the more reflective eyes of the Prime one though…but all in all, the new one is the winner for me!

TT reused the stand made for MP-41 Beast wars Dinobot. They could have added teeth/gears so it can lock but instead a screw was used to the tighten joints. Stand wasn’t great for Dinobot and so.....well you know the rest.

Some great customer service by Robotkingdom! They will ship out replacement parts in my next order to cover the cracked stabiliser!

Not sure how easy to swap out, but the crack doesnt seem to be getting bigger at the moment. But glad to have these parts just in case!

Robotkingdom is the only retailer I purchased from that has ever shipped me spare parts for a TT Masterpiece figure. I bought MP Clampdown and he was missing his shoulder wheel. RK sent me a whole torso. Not sure where they're getting the spare parts from....only guessing they just take it from an existing figure.

Good on them for providing those parts, but when a particular part is known to crack and is a widespread issue, those replacement parts are just as prone to crack. These are not revised pieces by Takara.

My rear stabiliser was cracked before I even took the figure out of the clamshell. Hopefully if these parts arent cracked, they wont crack on the first rotation. I'll have to find out how easy it is to swap out before I even consider using them....

Hope you win the QC lottery.
Mine was delivered to TT yesterday, so I should be sent a replacement in a few weeks.

I try not to do returns for high price items through Amazon too often, as I don’t want to risk my account getting closed. After doing returns for Optimus v3, Blackarachnia, Hound and Tigatron in a row, I feel like I shouldn’t push my luck.
