I think it has to with California's law where anything with possible carcinogens have to be labeled regardless of what said items are
I see some sellers here have this tag outside the box.. what does it says? Are the elbows really that fragile or weak?
When I was shopping for a Renewal Decade on Mandarake a few days ago, several listings showed cracks on the elbow joints. It seems like it's widespread enough for warning labels.
So all those with warning labels have pre-crack on the elbows? EDIT: I asked a seller and he said, ALL STOCKS come with those labels stating don't move the elbow outright suddenly on the first time opening it. How did some guys here with their copies moved the elbows upon opening Black V3?
Very carefully while bracing both the forearm and bicep. I don't think the elbows are any more fragile than previous SS figures, it's the paint that makes them tight out of the box.
Yeah, I had no issues with the elbows when I opened him up. It could also be that he was sitting in a hot truck when being delivered too.
It’s here but damn it’s at a mark up… Kamen Rider S.H.Figuarts -Shinkocchou Seihou- Kamen Rider Kuuga Mighty Form (50th Anniversary Ver.)
I bought the original version so long ago I don't even remember what I paid, doubt it was more than 60 bucks.
Son of a fucking bitch!!!! I took my pictures for the new Black on May 6th and promptly put him into my Detolff. Today was the first time I have touched him since and sure enough the rubber bits were all cracked. They were perfectly fine when I put him in there. How the hell did they crack WITHOUT being touched??????
Wow that sucks! I was hoping maybe the rubber could last like 10 years or so. Can you post a picture of the cracking you’re seeing? I was considering maybe getting another one but if the rubber isn’t going to last 2 months then I’ll forget about doing that.
Did you leave the figure in a static position or was he dynamically posed on your shelf? I just got mine in to go with Shadow Moon but unless SHF Upgrade figures out some way to put out replacement joints where rubber coverings were used I may not keep either figure. No point in having a hyper-poseable figure if I have to keep it in a static standing pose 100% of the time in fear it might break.
HOT TAKE, EVERYONE. READ THIS SHITPOST AT YOUR OWN RISK. I think that the veer away from the "Marked Rider" franchise name after Saban's Masked Rider is bad form. It would have been much better to take the name back instead of letting Saban tarnish it forever. But Everyone let Saban win, and we're now completely ignoring it, which is the worst thing we could've done in that situation. SHITPOST OVER. THIS HOT TAKE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY REPLIES, DON'T @ME.
Oy! That sucks a lot! That's some exceedingly shitty material used for such an expensive figure. I guess I'll be bracing for this to happen to my figure sooner rather than later then. Ugh!
It is. Like a figure should not be doing at all, let alone when it wasn't even touched for two months. Now I'm really worried for Tiga and Shadow Moon. If they're rubber bits are as shitty as this, I think my Figuarts days are over.
I wanted to take more pictures of mine but it's staying permanently in an A stance now, not going to risk stretching the material.
